First of all.. I wasnt meant to be there. I had originally booked an airbnb but since (as always) didnt look like the pics at all, I ended up booking this place for FOUR nights. What was I thinking?
Do yourselves a favor… just dont.
Sketchy area. Its fine to go around (literally theres nothing to do/see) to get emh water etc during the day but my curfew started at 5pm. The uber driver told me, people that lived there told me, everyone on booking said the same thing: it’s a dangerous area.
Also, i was never allocated the room that I had booked on booking. They did move me to a slightly better room the second day after I asked…
Its extremely noisy at night, not gonna lie. I could only pass out at around 4 am.
And cherry on the cake… someone tried to open my door on my last night of stay. I believe it was not “intentional” (read s/he went to the wrong room) but it only made me feel extremely unsafe.
I ended up staying there only for 2 nights. No money was refunded.

El personal es muy amable quien trabaja allí.
El lugar esta cerca de un area dificil y el lugar es tipo mas hotel de paso de 2 horas para parejas. Sentí miedo. Ademas de las sabanas manchadas con cosas extrañas. Solo pase una noche sin dormir y gracias que cancelaron el resto porque era horrible. No lo recomiendo

A una compañera le salió un ciempiés en la cama y si está peligroso ya que están limpios los cuartos pero las puertas quedan separadas del piso y por ahí se pueden meter los bichos o requieren fumigar constantemente

La amabilidad del personal en preocuparse por nosotros por ser una zona un poco peligrosa a las noches, estamos agradecidos que tuvieron el gran detalle de llevarnos ara comprar comida

The room was small, but had a big, comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious though. The town is very noisy, but the room itself was quiet.
The hotel isn't easy to find, and it's not near any good restaurants or shops, so you have to walk or take a taxi around the town.

Unfortunately my room was not really clean. The bed had stains and there was hair in the bathroom.

The best dollars/value spent on an hotel in DR, we rented this for a quick night in, an in between. the room was perfect, the staff is exceptional! especially senior Avelino! He is a real gem to this hotel! I strongly recommend this place!

Simple and clean budget Hotel in the heart of the busy city of La Romana. Equipped with a comfortable bed, shower with warm water, aircon, fan, TV and private parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free of charge and working well in the room. Credit cards accepted. There is a little corner shop next door.
Rooms are dark, small and sparsely furnished but clean. Good for a couple of days.

The room is good for the price. I slept well.
Be aware the area is dangerous, you cannot walk around after 8 and also during the day its not safe. Moto taxis are fast, cheap and trusted way to travel around. All of them (i took 6) where good, fast and friendly

Location not safe so I didin't like at all i stay only 2 nights and move out withouth getting my money back I was attack about 200 m. from hotel , present I am injure in few places in my body, and have damage gold chain and stolen gold medalion

Very comfortable little room. For the price it was a good value. The staff was super friendly. There is parking with security for the night.
No hot water but in hot weather countries its not that big of a deal. No kitchen access to make coffee. The rooms don't really have a window you can open and some rooms don't hace a "real window" aka it's by a wall.

The room was good for one night. I left my backpack with the staff the next day and they kept it safe. The price was really good.
I did not have any hot water.
