Enjoyed our stay. Sitting by the water was so relaxing

I'm an accountant. We came as a getaway after tax season. This was perfect. The place was extremely clean. Exactly as described. I would highly recommend.

Great place for some R & R

We had a great stay just wish we knew the only source of heat was a spacer heater. The host did inform us a day before our arrival but didnt clarify that was the only heat source, the water pressure was low. Maybe we missed it in the description but this is definitely a mobile home and not a cabin. Overall it was a good stay just freezing. Also, the lake view was great but note it is across the street.

My husband and I wanted a little staycation to enjoy the beautiful fall leaves, we picked this place based on the view of the lake. The View is even more amazing in person. The perfect spot for a nice little getaway. The house itself was immaculately clean, just the perfect amount of space for two people. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I spent a couple days here for our 30th anniversary and had a wonderful time just enjoying each other the lake and the property. Very nice spot to just hang out and enjoy life.

The cabin was so cute, and clean! Amenities were thoughtful, well laid out and the storage was more than adequate. The view of the lake, as well as the grassy knoll by the water's edge was simply beautiful. Two firepits provided a cozy view of the water and mountains. The area provided a central location to our visits to Fort Ticonderoga and Saratoga. The relaxation was exquisite and we fully recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful and beautiful spot by the lake. We had to leave a day early, due to the hurricane, which was headed for our home area. Wishing we could have stayed much longer, but are thankful for time we enjoyed. The only drawback for those who will enjoy this cabin in the future, is the water pressure. It is not much, and will take some getting used to!

We came into the ADKS by motorcycle so we packed very little. This beautiful little place had all the amenities we needed to make it a comfortable stay! We were quite impressed by the thoughtfulness of our host and how great the place was decorated. The lake and area are beautiful! It's a quiet place without all the hubbub of a tourist town. But if a tourist town is what you seek it's only a short drive to a couple different places. This place offers not 1 but two fire pits....one by the water and one near the house....both stacked with useable firewood. No need to go out and buy your own. The one thing I think should be pointed out for those with any health or physical conditions is that there is a fairly steep decline/incline to get back and forth to the water across a roadway. This didn't matter to us and didn't stop us from enjoying our stay but to someone with limited abilities it might be an issue. We would definitely stay again! Our family (2 adults, 2 children aged 6 and 3) stayed here for 4 nights. The home is clean and well furnished with amenities provided. It was a perfect location. The road is not too busy. We were able to use the dock area and spent a lot of time swimming in the lake. We brought our boat and were able to use the mooring ball. We used the town of Day boat launch to get the boat in and out of the lake. We would recommend it to others and hope to stay again!

Everything was better than expected

Perfect place for a quick affordable getaway. The house is across the street from the lake so you do have to cross over a main road to get to the water however, there never seem to be more than a dozen cars in an hour. there are two different fire pits, one up by the house, and one down by the water. Breathtaking views of the lake are right outside of the door. There is an adorable little porch with a tin covered roof, which was perfect to sit under for the brief rain storm that came through. Everything is well set up and well thought through. We will definitely be returning!

If you want to unplug away from the city this is the spot, beautiful scenery plenty of interesting places to travel through. Just don't expect a convenience store on each corner. Just go over then mountain and you will almost step back in time.

Wonderful place to stay on Sacandaga Lake. The lake frontage was amazing.

This is a very nice little get-away on a beautiful lake perfect for a couple. It was very clean, we were comfortable staying there and would recommend it to anyone. FYI, restaurants and grocery stores are few and far between.

Perfect spot and house for a couple to get away. Beautiful view of lake. Easy enough access to water. We brought our kayaks and got in and out no problem.
