The location is great. The breakfast is continental and nothing special. It was interestingly quiet despite being in the centre of city.

Location is terrific, right on a cute restaurant square. Room was nicely air conditioned and quiet. Beds were comfortable. We stayed in a triple room which was big enough for the 3 of us. There are stairs, which is common in the Netherlands, so pack accordingly. The breakfast area was nicely decorated. If I am in Delft again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Luggage stowed so we could start our tours early and they also placed our luggage in our room because we arrived back late.

Hotel de Koophandel is centrally located in the Beestenmarkt and within walking distance of all the main attractions. Despite being so central, I didn’t experience any noise issues from the streets. The room was large and really comfortable (though it was up a really steep windy staircase so wouldn’t be suitable for less mobile guests). I would definitely stay here again if I return to Delft.

Wonderful hotel! We had a spacious room overlooking the square which was great for relaxing and people watching. Excellent location on the square with great restaurants and a short walk to the main square.

Excellent location, but parking is about 5-7 minutes away and when lugging the luggage it isn't so convenient. Also, accessibility is an issue. Stairs only, be prepared for dragging / carrying your luggage up a flight of stairs. BUT I will book again because everything else was amazing!!!

The hotel is situated in central Delft in a vibrant square full of restaurants and cafes. Silvia was very welcoming. We had booked rooms on the ground floor at the back of the hotel which were quiet. (We had read that the stairs could be challenging)The room was clean and comfortable but a bit dark. The wifi was fast. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room but Silvia kindly put our wine in the kitchen fridge and provided glasses and plates for us. The breakfast was good.

We chose this hotel as our base in the Nederlands rather than booking a new hotel in each city on our trip. Delft is a beautiful city perfectly located 15 mins between The Hague and Rotterdam, 1 hr from AMS/Schipol, 40 min from Gouda (in fact most of Holland easily accessible within 1 hr). Our triple room was large with 3 single beds (though quite narrow). Hotel feels dated but served us well. Room could do with a small fridge, safe and daily bottled water. Situated in a very busy square full of bars and selection of restaurants but not overly noisy, good atmosphere! Beware very narrow staircase to rooms, almost need to walk up sideways! Check in/out easy, staff friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Lovely hotel with super friendly staff in great location in adorable town. Nice breakfast included. Only problem: no a/c and no screens on windows, so I woke up to a bunch of very irritating bug bits.

There is NO ONSITE PARKING as stated in Expedia. Nearest public parking is about 8 minutes away. Excellent location and professional staff. Breakfast was good

A lovely hotel in the heart of Delft, close to all the sights. Staff is very friendly and helpful -- one assisted with getting reservations at a busy restaurant nearby. The only drawback was being asked to commit to breakfast, without being informed of the price, which was a bit higher than expected at checkout. (The breakfast is very good, so have no complaints about that service; I only wish I had been informed ahead of time.)

Spacious and well kept room, conviniently located hotel also for surrounding cities, very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was perfect.

Great spot in the centre of Delft. Reception was very friendly and efficient even though they were busy. Our room overlooking the market place was large and comfortable - might be a little noisy for us early bedders when the weather is better and more people are sitting out. However we would request a quieter room at the back when returning. Breakfast was lovely, very good quality and plentiful.

Hotel was in a really good location--on a square with a number of restaurants. There was a lot of space in the room which is nice for a boutique type hotel. The only down side was the parking we had to use was about 5 minutes away.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Hotel de Koophandel! Located right on one of the major squares in Deft, the hotel is very accessible to all of the major sites, as well as the main train station. All of the hotel staff were really accommodating and provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants and for exploring the area. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the decor emphasizing the city’s connection with Vermeer added a nice touch. An extensive continental breakfast could be added for a small additional charge and was well worth it. One consideration for those choosing to stay here is that there is no elevator and the stairs could be a bit steep for some to climb. Also, Delft is a college town, and the square where the hotel is located is home to a number of restaurants that attract those looking to have a late night drink, which we found to be the case even on a Monday evening. Although by no means overwhelming, this may result in the room being a bit noisier than expected given the overall quaint vibe of the city. That being said, as a self proclaimed light sleeper, I had no trouble falling asleep. Overall, my wife and I would definitely stay here again when we return to Delft and think it’s a a fantastic home base for exploring the southern Netherlands!!

I really loved my stay at de Koophandel. The staff was great and all of them made me feel very welcome. Opt for the continental breakfast, it was very tasty.
