!!! *BEWARE* !!! House is a new build and was likely not inspected correctly before occupational certification was obtained. It has a tiled drainage waste in the bathroom shower down stairs that was probably blocked by a poor build quality or possibly previous tenants. We were blamed for blocking this drain and subsequent had $500 taken from our deposit. I have asked for evidence to be provided of the cause of blockage as well as receipts and have been completely ignored, disgusting and unprofessional treatment. “ Upon your recent departure, our cleaner reported a stubborn, grease-like substance on the bathroom tiles. Unfortunately, they were unable to remove it due to an associated drainage blockage. To address this issue, we have scheduled a plumber to assess the situation and provide a professional report.” How was I to know the drain was blocked in the first place that’s not my responsibility it’s not my property to modify and do maintenance as I see fit. So because the water and soap didn’t drain correctly into a drain that was already blocked. I am now to blame for the soap that they somehow are unable to remove (because it does not drain properly) from the tiles? There is paint drip marks on the bathroom tiles from when the ceiling was painted, the light fittings are loose as well as door handles and door stops are not secured to the door correctly. Beware when you rent through AirKeeper/airBnB as unfortunately in this case it seems we are paying for a pre existing condition as funnily enough in every email that was sent to me I was addressed by my name, yet when they sent an email in regards to the drainage issue it was a template email “ Hello [guest name],” Which tells me this is an issue they were aware of previously and they just bill people as they see fit. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. **EDIT To clarify, photographs were never provided neither was a plumbers report don’t openly lie in the response, be honest, be open and be transparent.

The house was beautiful and clean

Not enough pots in the kitchen. Also the water view was only from one bedroom

No breakfast included in the deal. The local area of Speers Point was very attractive.

Very dangerous entry / exit to the property. No information on gaining entry. Property not clean. No luxuries of any kind. Only view of the lake from top floor bedroom.
