I don't have many comments, considering the time we were there. We were safe, very quiet. And we were fine.

The floors were so dirty, that if you walked bare-foot the bottom of your feet would turn black

Not a bad experience. About average for a budget hotel. Didn't find any bed bugs or roaches, manager is friendly.

I like the room there is a lot of space but one bathroom with all those spaces the stairs are dirty

Do not stay here. Floor were dirty. Made our feed black with in 5 minites or being there walking around. I had to mop it myself. Found a dirty used monaural pad rolled up in a drawer . We’re not willing to compensate me at all. Said they were giving me the beat the could ( me doing it myself with there mop). Lots of smokers and weed smell all the time.

Absolutely disgusting property, this should be no more than $40 a night

Complete trash. Don’t come here! The service sucks! No WiFi code readily available. No actual breakfast just a lunch bag like if someone was in jail. Left me on the 3rd floor and tried to have me walk back and forth for my own service that I paid for.

Not a good place for family

The room was really dirty. The floors needed swept badly, the walls are covered in dirt and marks. The shower head leaked up into the ceiling, causing paint to peel off. One of the tables in the room was completely broken off, with the top over the TV stand. The beds weren't too bad, but the pillows are crap. One good thing was there was no bed bugs; that is the first thing I check at any hotel I stay at. The rooms basically did not look like the pictures; the pictures are 100% catfishing pics. I wouldn't stay there again. The managers were nice, though.

The manager was amazing guy very helpful all questions we have he answered so respectfully thanks to him .

Advertised pretty much as budget luxury hotel (check out the pics online). Drove into the parking lot dodging several apparently homeless people just hanging out. Had to be buzzed into the office through a rickety steel security door. Manager was definitely unfriendly and hard to understand. My wife and I went up to our room after check-in and were knocked back by the stench of stale smoke, stale urine and a combination of cleaning products futilely trying to cover it. Paint in horrible condition with splotches of mismatched faded and peeling colors, handprints, and drips of unknown origin. Found insects crawling on the floor. After encountering this nightmare scenario and looking down to the parking lot from the room to see random people looking into random parked cars, we decided to get out ASAP. Went to the office to inform the manager we were leaving due to the conditions we encountered and to get a refund. Manager refused to refund us a single penny. He said no refunds 15 minutes or more after check-in. Then he chuckled! This is far and away the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Expedia should be ashamed to have such a place on their site. STAY AWAY! DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE!

Definitely wasn't what the pictures showed. I thought we were staying in a more upscale hotel, comparable to Hilton or Hampton, but it seemed like the rooms were under construction still. They had new floors but the bathrooms needed upgrading. There were some shady people hanging about that might've been living there? They made us feel unsafe. You also have to ring the door bell to get to the front desk...should've been a sign to not stay. Good to lay your head down but really not worth the money spent - aaaand, we got a "discount" thru one of the booking sites.

This property was the worst that I have visited in my years and I have been to some trashy places to stay

I booked a room 2 weeks in advance with a king size bed. I get there exhausted after a 5 hour drive and I was told the room was no longer available, but they had already charged my card. Unbelievable! Specially being a long holiday weekend. It took me hours to find a hotel room somewhere else.

I like how they didn’t have a security deposits once I arrived. I booked my stay online. However I didn’t like how the jacuzzi room was very dengy looking vs how it looked online. I only stayed because I couldn’t get a refund!

I stayed for three nights and there was no water for about 7 hours on two of those days..I filed a complain with Expedia and when they called the hotel the manager became angry that I reported it and he asked me to leave and just kicked me out

No continental breakfast.sidewalks are dirty. Walls had marker on them.

Never going here again! Room was filthy, mold in the bathtub, elevator smells like cigarettes and urine. Terrible service as well!

The cleanliness and the customer service overall was very very poor if I would have seen the room before I had booked it I would not have gotten it. Their breakfast is a sack lunch they told us that the deposit for our dogs was $20 towhen I went to go get my deposit back they did not give it to me they said that it was rent for my dogs.One morning I turned in all my bedding we return back at night and I did not have any bedding when I called the front desk he said he did not have the laundry key sorry that I had to wait until the next day so needless to say that night I had no bedding on my bed. The room was cleaner when I left it than it was when I got there

I don’t know why this property gets so many bad reviews. I stayed at the property during Thanksgiving week. It was my first time visiting San Diego. The hotel is a bit dated but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the free WiFi and cable TV were convenient. I had an issue with the card access to my room but Danny resolved the issue by switching me to another room. I’d definitely book again. If you’re budget conscious, book your San Diego stay here.
