Breakfast was lovely although we did have a long wait for it! As for the location we thought we had gone wrong somewhere as some of the roads were like tracks. We were not disappointed though as the location was fantastic

Very welcoming to ourselves and our dogs. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast and evening meal was excellent. We will definitely back. All the staff were great but a big shout out to Rachel and Naomi.

Our 4th stay here on route to the Channel Tunnel. We love The Bowl Inn! Always friendly staff, lovely food, and a great little annex room when we have the dogs with us. Highly recommend.

The pub guests can be quite noisy, especially in the smaller rooms at the front. But you can always join them :-)

We paid for an evening meal which was exceptional, we left for the tunnel crossing before breakfast, however they supplied us with sandwiches, fruit and drinks. This was excellent and fresh and tasty as the meal the evening before.

Splendid views from each window. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Made an extra croissant for one of our children when we asked for it, because the chocolate one could not be eaten by him because of his lactose intolerance. On arrival the kitchen was closed but cold platters were made for us and this was communicated in advance to us.

There was nothing to like about this property

The hotel is run down and shabby, , the staff are very rude , I strongly recommend you do not book this hotel. They advertised property highlight as pet friendly, you are welcome to bring your dog here. . But dogs only allowed in 2 of the rooms. The staff were unpleasant and ill mannered.

Excellent location. Rooms were great and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the fact that the property was dog friendly, even though we didn’t have our dog this time we would definitely come back.

The staff was unforgettable effective and supportative. The chef was very good, he knows his (it was a he) metier. We are happy that Bowl Inn survived the Brexit and the Covid, so many other Inn's and BB's have closed for that reason. Purhaps it is due to the qualities of the Bowl Inn ?, I gather. We are walkers and Bowl Inn is just located at the rigtht place. We walked from Ashford station. Good room with hot shower and commforting bed, after a long walk. Heavenly

A mix up with payment. Booking.com had taken full payment the day before stay but the inn insisted I pay again. I am due a refund but neither party is clear on who is refunding. Very frustrating and not a great way to start a break

Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Lovely charming room with en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. Room had everything we needed and we had a view of the pretty garden. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. We will definitely return.

Warm welcome from young staff. Room was comfortable. Food was very good and generous. The setting is attractive ly rural and quiet. all round good value for overnight stop before taking the Eurotunnel shuttle.

not that easy to find and when I left the next day driving along the road I thought I had approached by the previous evening I found myself in a nearby village. A small detour and easy to rectify. The signage is not that good, and it would be helpful if the pub was signposted, assuming the council would permit it.
