Great house, facilities and location. Comfy beds and excellent outdoor area. Gloria and Miles were accommodating and lovely to deal with. We were delighted at the extras such as cheeses and wine, thank you. We'd definitely stay at The Great Escape again.

My wife and 2 year old son stayed here for 4 nights in September. We were not sure what we were expecting given small number of reviews but don't let that stop you. It's new and we were very very very happy with our choice when we checked in: -The house was ridiculously clean to the point I was convinced we were the first guests. -The welcome hamper and stocked fridge with basics you'd need were very thoughtful. It made the experience even better. -The house is very very well appointed and has everything you could want. Down to supplying us with a high chair for the 4 nights we were there for our little one. -The hosts are one of the best I've dealt with and are very knowledgeable and provided us with many suggestions on what to do. -The hot tub outside is simply Devine. Amazing place to lounge in after dark with some drinks! -this was hands down the best place we stayed in during our New Zealand holiday I wish I could rate it higher!

beautifully presented. wonderful extra touches like room sprays, candles, wine and beer, cheese etc. robes for the spa. when we arrived the lights had been turned on and music playing-very well thought out. comfortable bed with beautiful linen.

Gifts of food were exceptional. Lots of towels and home comforts which made the stay more homely. The spa was a fun way to spend a few hours. The beds were very comfortable and the linen cosy and plush.
