Hot tub was a plus. Comfy beds. Nice bathroom. Clean. Super comfy couches. Kitchen has everything you can think of. Very quiet and safe area.

Super clean cabin, very nice hosts. Looks exactly like the pictures, the host was very helpful, and they had a great movie selection! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again next time we are in the area!

This is a beautiful, classic, log home in darling Walloon Village! The owners were so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The cabin is so well appointed I can’t say it enough, from the clean and perfectly sized hot tub to cozy beds and well appointed kitchen! I Love to cook and use kitchens when I rent VRBO‘s and this one has it all, ice cream scooper, every knife and pot and pan you could imagine. There is also a washer and dryer which came in handy and had a nice folding table, which was a great touch and recycle bins which I really appreciate. We did not use the gas grill, but I have no doubt it’s clean and works great. The front porch sitting area has a really nice propane fire table in case you don’t want to tackle starting a fire in the backyard fire pit! The cabin is situated on a beautiful wooded lot with nice trails that you can wander through and look at plants, birds and trees. It is just a few minutes drive from Boyne city, Boyne Mountain, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs and would be a very easy drive to hit Mackinac Island for the day too. The Wi-Fi worked great and there are plenty of movies and games to entertain when the weather is cold or rainy. I highly recommend this great cabin!

Great property and location. We enjoyed the amenities close by, hiking, dining, shopping and wineries. It was nice to relax in the hot tub after a long day.

David and Jenny's place was perfect for my group of 4 ski weekend getaway. The 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain is so easy and 10 minute drive to Petoskey is perfect for a bite out to eat, grocery pickup, or casino trip. The drive to Boyne Highlands is only about a half hour away as well. We loved the clean hot tub and string lights in the back yard to relax after a long day on the slopes. David and Jenny provided great communication and had plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Would love to stay again!

This log cabin was a perfect mid-winter getaway for my family. The cabin is nicely updated and decorated, with everything clean and comfortable. It is a short 5 minute walk from walloon lake downtown, and a short drive to Boyne City, Petosky, and Charlevoix.

The cabin was super cute, clean and definitely well taken care of. It had everything we could possibly need and it is a great location (close enough to things but still have the privacy of your own place). The hosts were amazing when it came to communication and ensuring all our needs were met throughout the trip. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property my to anybody looking for a nice place for a getaway.

We loved staying in this cozy log cabin! The location was great for us--close to both Petoskey and Boyne Mountain (Sky Bridge), and the village of Walloon Lake is lovely. The owners were very communicative and friendly.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was exactly what we expected and had everything we needed! It was about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town with all the stores and shops you need. It was also only a 2 minute drive to the water where there was this delicious restaurant called Broken Barrel. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cute getaway!

My husband and I came up hoping to see some color in beautiful up north Michigan and we were not disappointed. The house was absolutely adorable very clean and cozy!! The property and home were very well maintained. We will be returning!!! The hosts were wonderful! A definite must stay!!!!

This is a cute log home with nice amenities and walking distance to downtown Walloon Lake.

We had a lovely stay in this darling cabin. It was so clean and really comfortable. It was a great base for going all around the area. Right by the little “town” of Walloon and it’s little beach area. Very close to Boyne City and easy to travel to Petoskey and Charlevoix and Bay Harbor. You can see all the care and pride the owners have in the house. They live right next door and are as nice as can be. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Everything you could possibly need is in the house. Very comfortable furniture. I highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.

The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. Nothing was spared in the way of furniture in the cozy living room set up; loved all the high-end leather seating! The Kitchen was also set up well with updated appliances including the sink and faucet. The backyard is spacious and private. It is a short jaunt into Walloon village for dining and shopping. The hosts, David and Jenny were extremely responsive and accommodating. The only downside to the location is the busy road which carries alot of traffic thus noise. However overall I would still give this a 5* rating.

This property is so cute and the cottage definitely gives the up-north vibe. Great front porch to lounge and appliances were all top notch. The hot tub was a huge plus….and the twinkling lights made the cottage glow. Loved that this house was pet friendly. The house is on a busy road so if you have a pet that may wander, might want to keep them on a leash. It was too far to walk to the beach with a family in tow, (maybe 3 or 4 blocks) but a short drive. The town is very small but easy to navigate. We did rent a boat at Tommy’s and went tubing which was a total riot. Kids loved it. The owners live right next door so if you need anything, they are there to help and checked in on us to make sure everything was good. They left us a starter s’more pack and flowers that was such a nice welcome. I think we probably needed a second bathroom and we will make that a priority next time ;-) but appreciated the dual shower heads in the shower. My teen girls were missing their full length mirror, with three girls and one bathroom mirror, we had to strategize;-) Also the only TV is in the living room, Which was not a problem for us because we read a lot and wanted to minimize any screens. Very close to Boyne Mountain and had a fun day there too as that has been our family vacation spot for many years. Was great for reconnecting our busy family with nature and each other.

I stayed in this lovely cabin for almost 7 weeks. It was just perfect. So comfortable and had everything you could need. Great location and walkable to everything in Walloon Village. The owners were as lovely as they could be and always made sure I had everything I needed. I ended up leaving considering them my new friends. Im looking so forward to my next stay with them. Bonus- pet friendly. My pup loved it.

Excellent location to be outside of Petoskey and still near Walloon Lake. Was a quiet area and really lovely house. Plenty of breweries and wineries nearby. Hot tub was a huge bonus! The hosts were fantastic to communicate with and provided a wonderful space for a much needed getaway. Would love to stay again in the future!

My family and I drove up to MI so we could ski at Boyne Mountain. We stayed at David and Jenny’s VRBO and it was exactly what we were looking for. We had our own space (which was especially needed due to traveling with a 4 month old puppy who barks a lot when he is crated), it was only ~10 min away from the slopes, nearby tons of cute restaurants, and had a hot tub and yard! Perfect place to stay for our impromptu spring getaway!

The lerfect couple get away, but so the option for snowmobiling in the winter and boating I assume in the warmer months. House came with everything you would need! Loved having a washer and drier! And 15/10 comfiest bed and pillows!

Everything at the cabin was great! Kitchen was very well arranged and supplied. It had lots of thoughtful touches and was very clean.

This cabin is super cute. It has amazing outdoor spaces. The porch furniture was super comfortable and fire was awesome when it was abit chilly in morning. We had great conversations and lots of laughter enjoying the porch. Hot tub and seating in backyard was great as well. Thanks for sharing this cabin for our birthday getaway weekend. Our parents are already talking about coming back next fall!! Thank you.

This property was wonderful in every way! The hosts have thought of everything. And if something would come up, they were close by and could get back with you quickly. The cabin was removed from the busy town, yet close enough to anything you need. We will definitely add this to our list of places to stay again.
