Location was where we needed to be for a concert

The place was filthy. Dead plants, dirty tea towel, floor dirty. Concrete floor. Not even an inch of liquid soap. Entrance to property was down an alley, the down steep filthy steps to a grungy basement. Awful smell of cats urine. Contacted the hosts and they have given a load of excuses, promised compensation, then ignored me.

Everything - location is perfect, very comfortable apartment with all the amenities, including everything you need for cooking, and there’s a cafetière available for morning coffee. The apartment is very clean and cozy. we felt like home and enjoyed very much! Super easy communication with the owner and the property manager, they both were very helpful and nice.

Property is by the seafront and near dreamland theme park. Great family stay. Beds really comfy.

The hosts were great.

Extremely noisy all through the night. The boiler in 1 of the bedrooms is really annoying.

The location is perfect. Very close to the seafront, old town & dreamland all within a few minutes walk. Really great flat with lovely decor, very comfy beds & living space. Nice touches to have olive oil & balsamic in the kitchen and detergent for the washing machine. Very spacious too, we'd happily stay again.

Multiple items i.e . bowls, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots in the kitchen were put back in the cupboards dirty when we arrived. The stairs into the flat are very steep. Some hooks to hang coats/towels would be useful. The loo roll (only 1 for 3 days) & tea and coffee provision was a bit sparse.

We liked the location as we were a minute's walk from the beach and the artisan shops and market. We appreciated the cleanliness of the flat, the interior design, the extra touches such as throws on the sofa, the large TV, the plants and good amount of living space as well as a generous provision of soaps and cleaning materials, tea/coffee and toilet rolls!

There is a second Albert Terrace in Margate which threw us off a bit in finding the flat initially, but when we found the correct location, the access instructions all made sense and were clear. The external area of front door could do with a clean and paint as this contrasted with the interior cleanliness and decor. There were a few creaks from the flat upstairs but only to be expected maybe.
