This is our second time staying at this lake home and we’ve already booked again for next year. Breathtaking views of the lake on a perfect patio. The beds are all very comfortable, so a good nights rest for all. The kitchen has everything and more needed to cook for a family. Fun water trampoline! I highly recommend this property for a fun lake trip any time of the year!

This house was great and just the right size for our family. We enjoyed the watercraft offered and spent most of our time sharing stories and memories sitting on the deck. The trees provided moving shade on the deck all hours of the day. The mockingbirds and katydids serenaded us day and night. Only the steep walk to the dock prevented some with limited mobility to enjoy the waterfront. Owners were very attentive and helpful.

My husband and I met 5 friends/ family at this rental. It is a bit tricky to get to hauling a boat. But once you arrive, the updates, space and rooms are beautiful and amazing. The home was clean, the property owner & manager is very attentive and extremely helpful. The boat slip on property was great. The back deck to lounge on after a day on the lake was so peaceful and realxing.
We will be back and would suggest this home to others.

We had our friends and family stay for a short trip. The listing was just as described and much more in a very beautiful area. The only downside was the hot water only worked in the master bath while we were there so 11 people had to shower in the one shower. The host was responsive and communicative regarding the issue.

Property is nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the dock, fishing, bbq and fire pit during both sunny and thunderstorms. Large porch was wonderful overlooking the lake. Highly recommend

We rented this property so our friends could have a small, intimate wedding with a pretty view. This property exceeded this and more. The house was very spacious with plenty of room for our friends and their families to stay. We held the wedding on the back deck that overlooked the lake. It was perfect! The rest of the time was spent playing games, relaxing on the deck or by the firepit!
Steve, the owner was so generous and kind! He was easy to communicate with. We hope to stay here again!!

We enjoyed our stay, as we had plenty of space for us our three adult kids in their families. There is plenty of room to spread out and each do their own thing and yet all come together for meals another times. We had a little contact with the host as everything was easy to access and well-maintained. Definitely is a place that we would come back to in the future.

Steve was a great host! He was prompt and available in his communication, and was able to address any questions we had throughout the whole process. The Home was so comfortable and clean that it was really easy for us all to relax and enjoy our time there. The back porch had a beautiful view. The location is just a short walk from the beach near the cove. Such a relaxing time. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Our family had a relaxing vacation and despite the weather (we couldn’t get our boat out), we enjoyed our time here. The house is decorated nicely, comfortable, and you can tell the owners care about the property. We spent time at the beach, played in the game room, fished on the dock, and used the Internet for tv and games. It worked great! We also saw quite a few baby fawns in the neighborhood!

We have a large family and wanted a quick getaway before school started back. Our group aged from 9-72, and fun was had by all. Steve is a great host and quick to respond to any questions or advice about the area. The place is lovely, and a lot of thought has gone into preparing the place for an enjoyable stay. There are multiple water toys and we caught fish in the cove. Just around the corner you will find the most wonderful beach where we swam, sat under the beautiful shade trees and played volleyball. The only complaint is that our stay was too short! We hope to visit again in the near future.

We loved our stay edgewater. We had group of 8 adults and one infant and it provided more than enough space and the dock was perfect place for the boat we brought with us.

Great spot where you can sit on the deck and watch the kids play in the water off the walkway and dock area, some water toys, comfortable beds, well supplied, covered dock and the cove is somewhat protected from the wind. Plenty of parking; we had 3 cars, a side x side 4 wheeler a mega cab pickup with a 25' boat trailer, a Ford Expedition and 12' utility trailer.
Some difficulties we had were: getting the boat on the trailer backed down to the house (making the corner off the road), the walk from the upstairs living area to the dock walkway is steep with loose gravel-the walk from the downstairs to the dock is not as steep and a better walk. The boat ramp is tricky to find but not a bad ramp. I would highly recommend this place,Steven is very helpful if you need him.

We met up with our friends we hadn’t seen for a couple years at Edgewater to catch up and spend quality time with each other. The trip and our accommodations were just what we needed. We had a lovely time and felt very taken care of in all aspects. Thank you!

Edgewater was the perfect spot for my friends and me to have a fun weekend on the water. The house was amazing. There were 14 of us and everyone slept comfortably. The beds are all SO COMFY! The kitchen is fulling stocked. The dock was PERFECT for us to swim off of. We spent the whole day lounging in the water. Steve had amazing communication. Everything was perfect and we will 100% be back.

The kids really enjoyed going to the sandy beach to swim. It was only a very short walk from the house.

Great home in a beautiful location on the lake with an amazing deck and view of the lake. Plenty of very comfortable beds (loved the mattresses). The owner is very easy and timely to communicate with. The VRBO listing is very accurate and all of the pics are spot on. We already booked this home again for next July.

The home was beautiful, so well taken care of, and had all the amenities we could need for a family trip! The mornings were spent drinking coffee and soaking in the amazing views from the deck. Beaches close by, fishing off the dock all were enjoyed as well! The host openly communicated and made sure our stay was what we expected which was appreciated! We had a wide range of ages and the home accommodated all! No disappointments and would absolutely stay here again!!

We brought 6 of our children ages 15 to adult for a family vacation! This place had everything we could ever want! The views from the deck were breathtaking! My son caught around 30 fish! The house comes with multiple options for getting around the cove on water and we utilized them all! Also, Steve was the perfect host and was readily available when we needed him! Thanks Steve! We LOVED our girls weekend at Edgewater!! Only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough! The house is SO impressive we had 13 women and we all slept comfortably and most of us had our own sleeping space. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. The lake house is well stocked with needed items and the private beach is very nice. It’s super sandy and clean, feels like a mini ocean beach!

This trip was sensational. We planned to camp at Porum Landing this weekend; however, the forecasted low temperatures caused us to reconsider. Thankfully, the Edgewater place was available only a few days before the arrival date. Steven was an excellent host answering any questions quickly. The place was clean, well-equipped, and spacious for our families totaling 8 adults and 2 kids. It was close enough to Porum Landing that we could fish at our usual spots. Views in the morning watching the fog on the lake was spectacular. We highly recommend Edgewater place and Stephen as a host.
