Pat and Jen were absolutely incredible hosts! Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. They were always quick to respond to our questions and provided helpful tips for exploring the area.
The location of the cottage was ideal for visiting Annapolis. It was close enough to all the attractions but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful retreat. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well-stocked, the queen-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the backyard was a blast.
The hot tub was pure bliss, and the robes were a thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. The bicycles, kayaks, and SUPs were an added bonus that made our stay even more enjoyable.
Thank you, Pat and Ken, for creating such a wonderful place. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We first visited Firefly cottage in June, and so enjoyed this special place that we returned again this month! Firefly is a true gem, a beautiful rental that is perfectly designed to maximize space, and one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at.
The large backyard has comfortable outdoor furniture where we could sit, eat meals or simply lounge, with very pretty twinkling lights that come on at dusk.
Pat and Ken are superb hosts, and they literally think of everything!
From the lovely gift basket filled with snacks and goodies to the dog toy and treats for our pet, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and all the extra touches they offered to make it such a special one.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and nicely situated near a community beach and just a few minutes drive from downtown Annapolis.

Pat and Ken were THEE BEST hosts I have E V E R had at any rental. Since my divorce last year I’ve had to use a lot of rentals to spend time with my kids and words cannot explain how amazing these people and this location were. This is our second stay and it was just as memorable and lovely as our first stay. Pat and Ken are fantastic hosts. They think of everything! They are super responsive when you have questions/issues. They also let you know about things going on in the community so that you can join if you wish.
The house itself is perfect for us. It's very well and generously stocked. Having a washer and dryer on site is a life saver when you travel by plane.
I would highly recommend the Firefly Cottage if you are in the area.

We had a great stay here for my husband’s birthday. Pat and Ken were fantastic hosts and even decorated for this birthday. They provided everything we would need for our toddler and if the weather had cooperated we’d have spent hours and hours in the backyard. Really appreciative of all the attention to detail and would highly recommend this listing if you’re looking for a low-key, relaxing stay where you don’t need to worry about the details.

The Firefly Cottage is a charming cottage ideally located in the community of St Cape Claire. Restaurants are close by and we highly recommend the Breakneck Grill. The cottage is well equipped and appointed. The backyard has has a hot tub and beautiful wild flower garden. Within walking distance is a park and beach area. We had a great time and found the location ideal to get to all the wedding festivities around Annapolis. Patricia is a terrific host and thinks of all the little things that makes staying at a VRBO so enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend and everthing was perfect. The house looks professionally decorated and sits in a very quiet and safe neighbohhod that was fun to walk for miles. As night falls, the enchanting lights in the backyard transform the space into a serene oasis, inviting you to unwind under the stars. The addition of a hot tub and corn hole adds a playful touch, perfect for relaxation and entertainment. Our stay was nothing short of perfection. Pat and Ken were great host and clearly wanted to have a great time. They left many suprises for us when we arived. We would not consider staying anywhere else if we return to the area.

Cute small cottage perfect for our family of three to get away from our hectic life. No need to worry about anything. Nicely appointed with special considerations for guests. My son wanted there to be more homemade cookies - delicious 😋 The hot tub was fabulous and the jets were the best I've experienced in quite some time. Dogs are very welcome here as well. Easy short drive to Annapolis as well.

Pat and Ken are the kindest, most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever experienced! They were available at the drop of a hat and always checking to see if we needed anything - more towels, coffee pods, etc. they left us gifts for us and our newborn grandchild - so much care and attention to detail! Truly wonderful, thoughtful hosts!
The cottage is adorable, beautifully decorated, albeit small. The lights and “events “ in the backyard are so entertaining and comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to experience the spa, but it looked excellent. Thank you so much, Pat and Ken, for a truly wonderful stay at Firefly Cottage! We will definitely book another stay there when visiting our kids and grandchild in the future (hopefully when the weather is warmer for this southern girl!). Thanks again!

Ditto to all of the excellent reviews thus far. The decor, linens, and furnishings are all quality, tasteful and relaxing. We loved the navy touches. We have stayed in VRBO’s for years and Pat and Ken are at the top of the A list. They are ever available but never intrusive. Details such as making the door combination part of my phone number was genius!
We are not usually hot tub people, but it was private and so easy to hop in.
The extra parking space in front was nice.
Again, ditto to all of the other positive comments.

We had an incredible time at this property. Owners thought of EVERYTHING! Gift bag with goodies and champagne, every amenity we could ever dream of, and most of all the house was immaculate. Perfectly cozy for a couple or small family, location is close to many stores and restaurants and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Could not have loved our stay any more! It was our first time but it most assuredly will not be our last.

We booked this home for a quiet weekend in and it was perfect. The kitchen was great for cooking, the layout was nice, bathroom was clean, hot tub was great. Overall we highly recommend and will be staying again. The hosts communicated very well and we're extremely accommodating.

The area was perfect, the homeowners were more than generous providing us with a bottle of wine and gift basket for our stay. We had a lovely stay at the Firefly Cottage during the holidays. The owners have gone above and beyond at this property to make guest really, REALLY feel like VIPs! From the welcome basket, complimentary breakfast treats, little details throughout the cottage including holiday decor and gifts, comfy beds, and NO check-out work we could not have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend this location for families as the hot tub was a big hit. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we hope to be back in warmer weather to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards.

Pat and Ken are amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed for thanksgiving and we had everything we needed to cook thanksgiving dinner. Pat even asked if we needed anything and she was near by if we did need anything. Pat has definitely thought of everything! Every little thing that you might need, they have already thought of. You really don’t have to bring anything but clothes. They have all the toiletries you need. They even had food in the fridge! I have never been to an air b&b where the hostesses were so gracious! The hot tub was amazing! The towel warmer next to the hot tub was a great surprise! The bed was so comfortable! I loved everything about this place! If I could buy this place for myself, I would! Thank you again Pat and Ken for a great thanksgiving!

Our first family trip up this year to visit our Youngster. We've come up several times over the last 2 years to hotels & short term rentals. This little home was awesome! We loved the neighborhood as well - our 1st time in Cape St. Claire. Easy 12 min. drive to & from Bancroft Hall. Great quiet neighborhood for dog walking, bike riding, etc. Terrific market close by (Graul's) as well as some nice resaurants.
Pat & Ken live in the neighborhood, and were amazing hosts. Their home was very well appointed & had everything we needed and then some! Lots of personal touches at the home for our family, including our beloved Boykin Spaniel. Hot tub was great! We'll stay here again.

This was a great place to stay for a few days. Pat provided lots of goodies for our stay including milk, cereal, baked goods and even a treat for our dog. Pat was responsive to all of my questions and checked in to make sure everything was going well! Would highly recommend it.

Wonderful little cottage near Annapolis! Beautifully decorated, very very clean, and the owners live close by if you need anything. Backyard oasis with hot tub, garden and grill. I am not sure where to start yet with OUTSTANDING. Everything was truly outstanding from the location, to the cleanliness, to the furnishings, backyard, and so much more! Pat & Ken know how to host and they go way above and way beyond! I can't say enough about it or how much I enjoyed the Cottage. It was wonderful and all very much appreciated! I will return and encourage anyone to consider this little gem in Cape St. Claire - Annapolis, MD!
