The cabin is very charming, well equipped and decorated. The area was gorgeous of coarse. They were however a couple things that would have made the visit more enjoyable. The bedding was laundered with extremely strong smelling detergent/softener. You might keep in mind that some people are sensitive to the smell and allergic! Maybe consider using free and clear detergent. Also I was looking forward to a”quite” stay . I was not able to enjoy the quiteness of the area because the heater needed to run constantly and was very noisy. But overall the stay was ok.

We really enjoyed our week at your cute and cozy cottage. Well appointed and stocked throughout. Communication with the property manager was exceptional! We will definitely recommend to family and friends.

CLEAN AND NICE. EASY TO GET TO TOWN.

This cabin was so perfect for our Mother/Daughter weekend get away! Super cute decor and very clean. The set up is nice because we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Great for a besties getaway or mother daughter like we did or similar; even a small family… There’s a sofa and a chair, so it might be a squeeze for two couples. But do-able :-) it’s super close to the village center and easy to get to. The host was very helpful and made themselves available to us for any of our needs. We loved it! Definitely recommend.

This is a really nice little cottage for a couple or small family. The only drawback was the heating. We arrived Nov. 30th and the place was freezing cold. The wall AC/Heat units are ineffective and the unit in the living room never got the place above 66 after 3 days. There was no firewood starter kit provided so we had to spend >$50 in firewood to heat the living room to a reasonable level of comfort. Had we arrived in the dark this place would have been unlivable for the first night. We had to turn on all the stove burners and sit in coats and scarves that first evening to wait the hours it took to warm the place. The bedroom was really cold and the bed was freezing. Suggest mini-splits or some thermostat controlled heating source. Alternatively the PM should turn on the heating sources several hours before a guest arrival in winter months.

This is a very cute little cabin. Perfect for 2 adults or a small family. Everything was easy, clean and just waiting for us to call it home for a few days. Thank you!

My mother, sister, and I have been escaping to Idyllwild for the last 50 years and this place was the perfect getaway! The cottage was so comfortable and was set up to be so accommodating, away from the busy-ness of town, but close enough to everything we wanted to do and see. The provisions exceeded our needs and the setting was quiet and so very beautiful! The hosts thought of every possible detail in setting up this lovely home. We highly recommend a visit to this Charming Fox Cottage to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing getaway from home. You won’t regret it!

Our family loved our stay! The beds were super comfortable, and the living area was nice and open. The kitchen had everything that we needed, and the fenced in yard was perfect and incredibly convenient for our pups. We absolutely would stay here again!

This is a perfectly-appointed cottage near wonderful hiking in charming Idyllwild. Great outdoor patio space that was heavenly in the summer.

Soooo cute, that all I kept saying! Clean, with large fenced in backyard for my doodle. Nice neighborhood. Absolutely no complaints.

We loved our stay. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable. It has everything we needed and more. Really appreciate dog friendly places so I can bring the fur babies. Our host Stephany was very nice and accommodating

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully remodeled, bright cabin. Check-in was a breeze, and the cabin was extremely clean. Kitchen had everything we needed for the stay. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were so soft! Stephany responded very quickly to questions as well. Best part was the fabulous wood burning fireplace, which warmed up the cabin nicely on the cold evenings. Definitely will stay here again!

This property is absolutely perfect for us. The home is neat, clean and well equipped. We felt very comfortable and relaxed here. Stephany is an amazing host. She is attentive and accessible for any questions or clarification. We already booked a second stay and look forward to returning!!
