Beautiful lake views, even in rainy weather! Plenty of room for a large group yet lots of cozy spaces.

Process easy and communication with owner excellent. Outdoor amenities great and area wonderful. Few minor items missing from kitchen. Better air circulation in living room world be great.

Property was better than expected, missed not having the row boat. Fishing was great for the kids, the sunnies were biting.

We had a lovely, relaxing family vacation in this lakefront property. We enjoyed the wildlife, ducks, geese, and deer, in the yard. The paddleboat, kayaks, and canoes, and the fire pit were great features we used.

Lake was beautiful as was the home. Definitely they need a new cleaning crew and updated beds. Plenty of things available for lake pleasure.

We enjoyed our week with family on the property. With the boats, fishing from the dock, and games in the house we were occupied all week. The house was spacious enough to give teens their space and still have enough room for all. Thanks!

Kids and adults alike enjoyed the lake immensely. The ready availability of the kayaks, canoes, and paddle boat really added to the enjoyment. The sunroom was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and board games with the kids. The property is not without its flaws. While charming there are definite upgrades that would help. Some of the windows do not open and on hot days it gets stuffy. Most of the ACs are outdated and do not work efficiently. There are areas of the home inside and outside that could use some well deserved TLC. This place could be fabulous…That said, this is all constructive criticism. The little issues are largely meaningless when you consider the incredible memories you can make at a place like this. The lake, fire pit, and wildlife make much of this trivial. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Little touches-e.g., umbrellas on the outdoor tables, working coffee maker, and getting rid of visible debris under the deck would make this a 5 star rating. Mind you, I would come back next year regardless for all the fun we had. Property owner was professional and responsive which is always appreciated.

The house was nice and big enough for all,, even could have had more,, but 7 is enough. Sons an girlfriends took advantage of paddle boat an kayaks to do some fishing. One girlfriend caught her first fish ever! Nice touch with AC in bedrooms as we went during a very hot week. Our dog was thrilled with the deer that literally just hang out in the yard! The porch was my favorite!

We had a wonderful time relaxing and staying here for the week. The description of the property is accurate. It was clean and very comfortable. There's 2 docks, 3 kayaks, a canoe and a paddle boat to use. I would suggest bringing a few comfortable chairs for the back yard. The lake was quiet and peaceful. We plan on going back again.

Overall pretty good, the wildlife there are out of control though. We had alot of geese, ducks, and deer literally coming right up to us, getting into the trash, and generally zero fear of us. It's obvious they are being fed by the community.

We booked this property for a family weekend getaway over Memorial day weekend. We booked the property for Thursday through Monday. On Tuesday night, less than 48 hours before our vacation was due to start the owner contacted me to tell me he had accidentally double booked his house and so had to cancel our rental. This was despite the fact that I'd been in regular contact with him via the VRBO email system for weeks before the rental. Unsurprisingly, there were no other houses available before the holiday weekend, VRBO was unwilling to help in any way, so we had to scramble on our own to book hotels and come up with alternate plans to salvage the weekend. Our relaxing long weekend at the lake was ruined. It's Memorial Day Monday as I write this and as of yet the refund has not yet hit my credit card, though I've been told by VRBO has been processed. Take any booking you make with VRBO merely as a suggestion, not a reservation, and be prepared with backup plans as VRBO will do little to nothing to help if an owner cancels.
