the staff was extremely polite, happy, they actually spoke to us. they did not subscribe to the “be seen not heard” that seems to be the rule for a lot of hotels, and this much appreciated. the breakfast was exceptional they had a pancake oven that brought out the kid in husband. and oatmeal (except on Sunday) the lobby area was very nice and family friendly and they had these cubby like reading nooks. a small store like area for sodas and snacks that you could charge to the room if need be. the rooms were a bit small but very nice. very good water pressure which is a big thing for me and a reason I will not repeat a stay at hotel if they have poor water pressure in the shower. no carpeting they had the nice hard wood vinyl type floors that are more popular and the floor was clean, I’m barefoot as soon as I walk in the door and I did not have dirty feet from the floors (this has happened before at other hotels so I pay attention)

the rooms or at least the king bed room we had was what I’d call a live out of your suitcase type of room. No dressers and what was basically a metal pipe on the wall for hanging clothesI no closet. I’m a bit of a nester and will unpack if staying more then a night. also the room had no microwave and while it did have fridge it was mini fridge big enough only for sodas. Of course the room wasn’t big enough for either a microwave or a small fridge, it was very compact would be the best word to describe it. all that being said we weren’t unhappy with our stay the rooms were very clean and bright

It was clean and the MOD was friendly and apologetic for the wait to check in. The kids loved the pool table and game area

There was some strange tapping noise coming from the fire alarm at night. Also, it’s almost like there’s a problem with the pipes. They were banging often.

It was a very noisy hotel. The restaurant/bar behind the hotel plays music pretty late. We also had a lot of noisy neighbors within the hotel, upstairs and outside in the hallway.

The staff was welcoming. The breakfast was good.

When reserving the hotel, I made sure to note that my therapy dog would be with me, I received an email saying that the therapy dog would be okay and there would be no extra charge. The front desk clerk did not receive this notice and tried to charge me for my therapy dog. The water pressure in the shower was awful., in the fact that there was no water pressure at all. I was allergic to the feather pillows and could not get another type of pillow. There were loud high school students running up and down the hall all night. I am not holding the hotel responsible for their behavior; however the hotel needs to alert the adults with the high school students that their students were disruptive.
