Quartier pas tres attreyant (sale et pas trés sur)Le portail bloqué a notre arrivée et pendant 3 jours. Obligé de se faire ouvrir par les voisins .. Appartement sale alors que 25.00 pour le ménage. Des blates dans la cuisine et sdb. Pas d'etendoir. Aucune vue sur la ville... De plus coffre a clé exterieur fracturé. Ne correspons pas du tout a la description... Nous sommes déçus

Spacious clean & all necessary essentials It was lovely that there was some tea & coffee, washing powder, washing up liquid & hand soap etc

Could have done with some more hangers but there was plenty of storage to fold clothes

The WIFI was powerful and worked smoothly....this is the one and only positive remark. Maybe another one, my car was not broken up....even if I was really afraid of it during our whole stay.

The host is not responsive, I have sent our expected time of arrival in advance and also requested check in details - didn't receive any feedback. Upon arrival I called the given phone number, secondly managed to reach someone who mentioned that would be in contact with host. After many minutes the host sent me a video on how I should access the apartment....however the key was not there as stated via video. Sent message to host, after a while a strange lady opened the door and gave me the house key, then she grabbed the apartment's key from the open post box.... The whole staircase is very dark, narrow and smelling like hell. When entered the flat the bad smell was even worse, the whole apartment was really stinky. The flat was uncleaned, hundreds of hairs on the floor, rubbish and dirt all around. Okay, so let's visit the bathroom to wash hands and start to clean up the mess...the toilet seat was missing!!!!! We looked around and eventually found it under the bathroom cabinet in extremely dirty manner. Okay, let's move on and grab some food. I walked to nearby shop with my 2 sons and approximately 150 meters away at 6:30 pm on Friday we could see people taking drugs on the street. It's also worth to be mentioned that surroundings is very bad, strange looking guys wandering on the streets, you definitely don't feel well and secured. There is no terrace, it's only a passage to an other flat. Windows can't be closed. We found only 3 spoons and 2 really small pots to cook. When I requested the host to bring more he promised to come over....he lied and didn't come. Ants and other insects in the kitchen. Connector hangs out from the wall. You can't set the water temperature in the bathroom properly. No bulbs in several lights. Etc. Etc. Guys, please don't be cheated, you can easily find better place for your money!

Heating did not work. There were no towells

Location was terrible. Trashy, industrial looking area. Parking was a nightmare. maybe better during the week when people go to work but we were there on the weekend. No clear instructions for access to the keys. We were met by a woman who could barely contain how grumpy she was and treated us as though we were an annoyance. Apartment did not live up to the pictures. As soon as we walked in we all noticed a weird unpleasant smell. Carpet in the living room had curled up edges that we all tripped on numerous times. randomly there was a beeping sound that would go off every minute, it was like the Chinese water torture. We think it was the on demand water heater but we had no idea how to stop it it went all night. The glass shower walls looks like somebody just took some Windex and paper towels and went over it quickly the walls of the shower still had soap splatter and water spots, if you look at it from an angle you could see that it was not scrubbed. We just did not enjoy this place wished we had not booked it. I can't figure out how it had such a high rating...

Location near to city centre, just 3 stops on the Metro to Atocha railway station. The 2 main bedrooms were reasonably large and the large double beds were very comfortable with good quality linen. Heating worked well and there was plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. Lots of towels for showering.

The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived at 18.15, despite check-in being available from 15.00 and the fact I had notified the owner through Booking.com of an arrival time between 18.00 and 19.00 which he had confirmed was acceptable. It was 19.30 when they had finished. We did not notice until after the cleaner had left that the toilet seat was not fixed and moved or came off when anyone used the toilet. There were only 3 teaspoons and no towels to dry the dishes after washing up - we bought one. Some of the cutlery was dirty. The apartment is in an inner city area with all that this entails. Opposite and to one side are motor vehicle repair shops and it is very near to a 4 lane inner ring road and all the railway tracks leading into Atocha Station. The noise from these subsided by midnight to be replaced by people in adjoining apartments or outside in the street. The streets around the apartment are not well lit and it is certainly not an area where I would wish to walk around late at night. The apartment is on the first floor of a tenement building and there is no lift . The staircase is not well lit The terrace, if it can be called that, is an inner courtyard and stunk of cat urine. As we were a group of 4 people the cost was acceptable, but a couple would be better off booking a hotel room.
