When we arrived we found that thee was no power in the property, but unknown to us the owner had sent me a couple of emails informing me of the situation, the room he gave us was nice with a private balcony , it was clean if a bit dated , bed was comfortable, breakfast was good with all the bits and pieces you would expect to be there , there .

Breakfast was delicious. Tom and Sam are so friendly and even in the middle of his busy morning, Tom found time to give us suggestions for places to stop on the Sally Gap drive to Dublin. Would definitely come back again.

I was given a private cabana in the backyard of the main house and I couldn't have been more grateful. My window faced a beautiful garden where birds and deer would pay a visit every now and then. I enjoyed sitting on the flowery patio reading a book and being surrounded by the peaceful nature. Priceless. Breakfast was great, rich, and delicious. Can't recommend this place enough.

I really had a great experience in Brichdale House with my family. The room was very clean and they have very friendly staff.

Arrival at the accommodation is until 20:00, but there was no problem to agree on a later arrival - Thank you.

Lovely room with such a comfy bed & the shared bathroom was spotless. Tom & his wife are also very friendly and helpful and make it a priority to make you comfortable. Communication is great. They also serve a delicious breakfast!

The room and breakfast facilities and staff was excellent and spotless clean good choice for buffet for breakfast and the fry up was very tasty and very fast .
The location was a bit out off the town and as I wasn't from their I got lost.

Comfy bed, delicious breakfast, good hot shower. Good sized room, ample parking. Steven recommended dinner in Rathdrum which was very good. Peaceful location 10mins from Glendalough. Everyone was friendly. Lovely outlook from balcony
Shower was on the small side but similar to many b&bs in Ireland. Bathroom roof angled where the sink and toilet were in our 1st floor room meant i had to crouch a little to avoid hitting my head as i'm tall but it's a very minor issue of an overall great place to stay

The hosts were really nice and in the morning we had a good breakfast
Place is quite far from any main area town
We picked a room that was like a closet we barely were able to get into the bed
Our clothes we had to step over them in order to get to the bathroom which was next door

Breakfast was very good. it was cooked lovely and came out quickly. You did have to order the night before.
the room was nice but duvet had a stain on it. Very little plugs available, had to plug lights out to get a plug. Bathroom was ok but didn't use shower as thought it looked dirty.
