Some renovation would be needed and humidity but I think is an issue pretty common here in Ponza, however no bad smell in the room but in the morning the clothes were almost wet.

The owners were extremely welcoming and helped us with anything we needed! The breakfast on the terrace with the beautiful view was incredible.

The place is fantastic, the breakfast was great, the staff very helpful and polite. I will come back.

Panorama is nice, host is kind

We inspected the accommodation and the room, but we did not sleep there. On the booking page, it is stated that the accommodation is 200 m from the center and the accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the Ponza port. This is a lie. Neither 5 minutes is true nor 200 meters. This is especially true if the guest is traveling by helicopter. The approach to the accommodation is not signposted at all, the sign pointing to the accommodation is not even at the entrance. It took a lot of effort to find the accommodation at all. There is many stairs leading there, with uneven steps that are dangerous for accidents, and there is no handrail next to them. And the chery on the top is no lighting at night on the way to the Casa Carmela. It takes approximately 20 minutes to reach it. According to the phone data, it is 15 floors up. This small fact is not mentioned anywhere in the description of the accommodation, because if I knew in advance, I would definitely not book it. The room is cold and dark, the bed is small. When we got to the house, no one answered, so we knocked on the door of the apartment and then a huge dog jumped at the door barking, causing a big scare. There was no fence around the assigned room, so I did not see the confinement of the large dog ensured. The accommodation was unacceptable for me, I'm glad that we were able to get up and down without an accident. We left in a hurry and spared no time or energy in the late afternoon to look for new accommodation because there was no boat service back to mainland Italy that day. The description of the conditions of the accommodation does not provide the guests with real information.

The family running the B&B did everything to make our stay comfortable and special. The place is fantastic. Breakfast includes freshly home baked cakes!

The bed and breakfast was fantastic. A few stairs to climb to reach it, but then a fantastic view, very comfortable room and bathroom, and great terrace from which we could take our breakfast every morning. we would definitely recommend and come back, and the hosts were very kind and welcoming.
