Close to everything. Great weekend getaway.

Terry was wonderful to work with. Since we had to cut our stay to leave early for a family funeral, Terry allowed us to check in early. He was at the cottage when we arrived and helped put pur stuff in our rooms, put out the chairs on the back deck, and showed us how to unlock the cottage. The place was immaculate and even had snacks and water for us. The beach was a little ways away, an the Lexington beach is a LONG walk to the water. There was a great breeze coming off the lake, but that made the waves too difficult for my 77-year-old self to enjoy the water. Plenty of things to do in the area, as well as an abundance of eateries. We had a great time.

This is a very nice small two bedroom cottage a block away from downtown. It is very clean and nicely decorated. Considering its location, the backyard is surprisingly private. Owner is very thoughtful. It worked out very well for the two of us and we would stay there again.

Have stayed there many times and have never been disappointed.

Very nice and clean cottage in an excellent location! It was somewhat tight for the three adults but we managed. It’s perfect for the two mature adults and I know I’ll be back next year with another friend. My only suggestion is to add a small coffee table to the living room so one has a place to put down the phone or a TV control. The property manager Terry was very pleasant and helped us immediately with a couple of requests we had. He was a pleasure to work with!

Ansolutely love staying at Cedar Sweets! Location is walking distance to town, beach, restaurants and marina. The place itself is super cozy, clean and relaxing. It has everything you need. What else makes it so special is the host- Terry, i could go on and on about all the little things that are appreciated , but in short , he has really just taken into consideration what you really enjoy and need when on vacation, including many ammenities and early check in if possible (gotta love that)! We just bring ourselves and have a good time, and you will too!

We love staying here for our third year wedding anniversary. Everything was in walking distance in the cute little Village. We loved how everything was set up and we had our own private deck. This was the best anniversary stay we have had so far. Terry even help me set up a surprise for my husband by putting rose petals in a shape of a heart with our wine that we drink at our wedding. Exactly what I hoped for!

My family and I (husband and two young kids, ages 10 and 7) took a recent trip to Lexington for the long holiday weekend. Not only was the cabin in an excellent location, but it was beautifully upkept and clean. Everything was exactly as described. Terry, our host, was one of the most kind and considerate hosts we have come across in our 4 yrs of vrbo traveling. There was a parade in the area on the day we were meant to leave; Terry was kind enough to offer us a late checkout so that our children wouldn't have to miss the parade. It was the first parade they've ever had the chance to see in person, and they loved it! Thanks to Terry's generosity, we had the perfect ending to our vacation. We would love to make this a yearly getaway. Highly recommend this home, town and host.

Our stay was fantastic in every way. The property itself was excellent - very well presented, very clean, and accurate to the photos. You can't beat the location - the town and beach are both two blocks away. And the owner was a pleasure to deal with - very flexible with check-in and check-out, very helpful, and very communicative. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here again.

This property is everything you see. The hosts are amazing and have above and beyond hospitality. The town is cute and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Terry was very responsive to us. The cottage is located walking distance to shops and the break water. Quiet neighborhood and just as cozy and cute as can be.

Super clean and tastefully decorated cottage. Great town to visit with good restaurants, bars and evening events. Lake is beautiful.

Excellent communication with property owners. Due to circumstances, we were offered an early check-in and a late check-out. We loved the area as it is handy to the marina, beach, and town. We especially liked the "small town" feel of Lexington.

Terry was very generous in accommodating us on our stay. We needed to get in early to get ready for my daughters wedding and he went he went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage was very clean and neat and so close and convenient to all the action in Lexington so the day after the wedding we were able to kick back and relax. I would most definitely stay there again. Thank you again Terry you were awesome. We so enjoyed our stay.

We love this cozy place. Best for 2-4 people. One block from the Lexington Theatre, Village Pub, shopping and the lake! Great location.

Bathroom's a little small. Can't do anything about that, however a few amenities would be helpful. A handheld spray attachment to the shower head. A tub grab bar for seniors. Our last visit had a bidet installed on the toilet. If nothing else, your toilet paper cost saving would pay for itself. Obviously, the kitchen is tight but if you raise the microwave just below the cabinets by installing a 12" shelf, you can gain counter space. The coffee maker can be right under it. Next the living can't have to much clutter, but a couple of folding TV trays would have been handy. Last but not least is the bedrooms. I completely understand why there's no chests. Would be a problem getting around. When I was shopping at Dollar General, I saw some small plastic three drawer chests that would be enough to store underwear, socks etc. $15. I've tried to suggest things that our doable and wouldn't break the bank.

Second time at Cedar Sweets and enjoyed it all! Lexington Village Theatre, BBQ, shopping, and enjoying the beauty of the lake and surrounding area! Terry is a responsive host, with very clean home just one block off Huron. We will be back!

Everything about my staybhere was just an absolute joy. The owner is super helpful, and so easy to deal with. The place was fantastically clean, and the kitchen has just about everything you could ask for. I cant recommend this place enough. Well worth it.
