We had a great week with our adult children and grandson. House was set up for guests to have fun. Very quiet and peaceful location. We had fun boating and fishing. The only issue was the lake is not deep and was not good for swimming, but we went to the community pool and had fun there. Great week overall.

Great location, Disappointed there were no towels, nor sheets provided. Tried to charge another $100 for towels and sheets, which I thought was unfair. The owner did compromise to give the towels and sheets free of charge. Thank You! A clear written description before would have made a big difference. There were 12 of us that stayed. Also, the dishwasher was filled with dishes when we first got there that we had to wash. Livingroom furniture needed to be vacuumed, a lot of crumbs, toys, etc. For the amount of money for 2 days, I would have expected better services. I have stayed at a lot of Vrbo's and have never experienced this type of service. I know they can so better!

Awesome time - great house and perfect location.

The place was spacious and our family was able to spread out and have space to gather or stay apart. There were lots of games, pool table, foosball table and plenty of boats for everyone to enjoy. The location is in a nice quiet area of Arrowhead lake which was appreciated by our family.

Enjoyed the use of the amenities at the property. The sunset over the lake each night was breathtaking. The way in which the rooms were set up made it nice for two families

The house met all of our needs. Enjoyed the lake and outside areas. The house furnishings needed some attention and the upkeep needs to be better.

My nine-year-old granddaughter summarized our stay in the guest book— « Best vacation EVER ! » Our family lived outside: from pancakes and bacon on the grill to s’mores at the fire pit at night. And inside were all the toys and games for the one day it rained. All was perfect and the hostess could not have been more responsive.

It was great having two houses right next door! We had 21 people all together. Plenty of activities… and we did most of them!! Kayak and paddle boarding plus tennis and pickle ball practice by the side of the road. We walked the neighborhood and rode bikes. Also held a Family Olympics and tie dying shirts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !!!

The house exceeded our expectations. The photos in the listing give an accurate representation of what one will find there. The house is roomy, comfortable, and the 80's vibe was a huge hit with our crowd. There are two separate upstairs areas, so even though the capacity of the house is large, there are many places one can escape for privacy--a boon when three generations are traveling together. The best part of the house was the assortment of "fun" amenities. Inside, there was a pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard table, and a full-sized arcade machine that played hundreds of 80's favorites ("Phoenix" was a particular hit with our family--remember that one?). The stereos were stocked with cassette tapes from Billy Joel to Huey Lewis and the News to "Disco Invasion"--our teens were tickled to see these relics and played more than a few of them. Outside, the many boats offered by the owners kept us busy--multiple single- and double-person kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, rowboats, a pedal boat--and plenty of safety equipment for all. It was terrific to be able to take a canoe or kayak out from the house and not have to go to the community center to rent one. We did plenty of fishing off of the house's two docks as well. Really, the house was comfortable and set up for maximum relaxation efficiency. I couldn't end this review without mentioning the greatest asset of this house, which is the owner Wai. She was so patient with my many changes leading up to the rental week and was very responsive when an issue with the dishwasher came up while we were there. Even after we left, we didn't manage to get out of her hair, when one of our visitors realized they left a bag at the house after we'd checked out. Wai was able to coordinate the retrieval of the bag with the cleaning crew and get it back to my friend, even after we were already back home in New England. Wai went above and beyond in every way and remained good-natured through it all. She really was terrific, and it made a positive difference in the quality of our vacation at her home. Thank you, Wai!

Overall we had a great vacation. Although it rained all weekend and we weren’t able to enjoy all the outdoor amenities, we enjoyed the indoor games and movies. There was ample room to accommodate all guests. Our only complaint was that it wasn’t very clean.

We spent a nice weekend with friends for a reasonable price. Kids were happy.

Great clean house that provided plently of entertainment for our family get together. Check in was easy and communication throughout the process was great. Beautiful views of the lake which also includes lake access.

Property has everything you could think of. The owners were the best, promptly answered questions and we had a problem with the grill and in fifteen minutes they had someone there to fix it. Numerous boats to use and we had a blast playing Wii.

This house was pretty much what we were hoping to get when we booked. We were a group of friends looking to get away for a couple nights without “needing” to go anywhere. The house is located right by many neighbors so don’t expect a truly secluded experience but once inside, you have a large house with everything you need. We took advantage of the game room that has a pool table and shuffleboard and a wood burning fireplace that has plenty of fire wood outside (we just had to hunt for kindle wood to get it started since the branches were all wet from the snow). We also cooked all of our meals in the full kitchen but you truly need to bring everything you need including any condiments and seasonings if that’s your plan. The only real disappointment is that all guests are required to pay to a “temporary membership” fee outside of the rental fee that should include access to the community lodge with other amenities, but it is closed due to covid so the fee is mostly allowing you to be on the grounds. Would love to see the lake in the summer. Overall, great stay.

We had a blast playing shuffle board, foosball, and pool! The games were a great way to reconnect with old friends and are perfect for the colder months when you need to entertain yourself inside too.

This was an excellent getaway for our family! The owner of the property was very nice and responsive in all communications. The property itself was perfect and had everything we could have hoped for. Definitely looking forward to staying there again!

We stayed for a family get together and to see the fall colors. First time in the Poconos. Weather cooperated and the place accommodated all of us.

The property is large with multiple bedrooms, large family, dinning, kitchen, etc. There is a game room, kayaks & boats, bikes available to use. There is a lot to do. House can accommodate multiple families and children. The interior of the house is nice, but outside needs a good cleaning. We had a great time.

Had a great time. Lots of toys to play with inside and out. They have even more boats than listed: 3 kayaks, canoe, 2 rowboats, 2 paddle boards, and a peddle boat. Also tons of cooking gadgets, utensils, and ancillary things (ie spices, cooking oil, flour, sugar, etc.).

We enjoyed our time at this mountain getaway with our large-ish extended family. Beautiful lake views! Very responsive owners!

Wai was wonderfully attentive to our communications and quickly replied. Great location. We all enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. The pool table and pac man game were nice additions...for kids and adults. ( :

We had two families. 4 adults 4 teenagers. This house fit us all perfectly. The view is stunning. The boys fished every day. They used all the kayaks, boats, paddle boat and boards. It was amazing! On the warm days the air conditioning units worked perfectly. They had a ton of board games, pool table and the arcade machine was a big hit. They had a huge pile of fresh wood for us for the fire pit. Along with a ton of life jackets for the water toys. A bonus was all the extra kitchen supplies they had. Tons of spices and condiments, toilet paper, paper plates. The communication we had with Wai was wonderful. If I had a question the response was almost immediately. I highly recommend this house. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable vacation!

The location can’t be beat. The house is big and my family of only four ( thanks to Covid) loved spreading out. The layout is odd. I’m assuming a large extension was built onto the original cottage with kitchen facing the front. The master bathroom is open to the bedroom ( toilet has a door) but the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The house, with its pool table, basement game room, amazing deck, great fire pit and beautiful views made for a great week. The water is shallow and mucky near the house so not great for swimming but we boated over to the sandy beaches or pool, or drove to the pools to swim every day. The decor, games , cassette tapes and stereo was a total 80’s throwback but the smart TV and coffeemaker was totally new. The house was clean and the hosts very responsive. Thanks for a great week!
