My aunt and uncle used to stay at this property for years every summer, when they passed we decided to continue the tradition and we absolutely love the property and the hosts are awesome! Convenient location, walk to everything. Never have to take the car out. So peaceful and serene. Just sit back as relax you will love it here!!

The property is a perfect location for anyone wanting privacy but also within walking distance to restaurants, etc. It has beautiful views of Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay. It's right across the street from the Light House Museum which has a beautiful park to just sit and enjoy the view or walk your dog. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. We were looking for a place to stay near family and friends as we relocated to North Carolina a few years ago. This was perfect! We'll definitely stay there again. Our dog Blue is thankful as he was able to be with mom and dad for the whole stay as opposed to being in a kennel. One more thing! Chimney Bluffs state park is about 20 minutes away. Looking at the bluffs is just beautiful and surreal. I highly recommend anyone staying at the cottage or anywhere in the area to visit Chimney Bluffs state park. Take a walk along the shore and see the bluffs from that perspective or hike through the park and see the peaks of the bluffs from the trails. Thank you so much Martha and Mark!!! Great location! Close to downtown restaurants and the beach. Downside was it could get noisy at night with live bands playing downtown but we had a white noise machine that covered it up.

The property was awesome. My family and I had a really relaxing time while on vacation. The beach was a walk away or a very short drive. Would definitely stay again....

Perfect little cottage for relaxing! Sit out front and you can view the lake. Sit out back and you’re in your own little world. Great beds and comfortable furniture. We loved it and will be back!!

Can’t beat the location, walking distance to the beach and tons of restaurants and across the street from the lighthouse! Air conditioner kept the house nice and cool during a heat wave. Owners were great to work with, highly recommend this property!

The house was great and was beyond what we expected. Spacious, well provisioned and everything in working order. We were blessed with great weather during our stay and made use of the back yard and the A/C inside. Beds were very comfortable and provide great nights rest. Very happy with our stay and will definitely be calling again on our next trip to Sodus Bay.

This is a great little Cottage. Perfect for what we needed as a second rental to a bigger home nearby. A great outdoor space in the back was very nice.

Landlords thought of all your needs no matter how small. It was peaceful and quiet and a little bit of nature around to make it a perfect stay

Everything was there that we needed! Cottage decorated beautifully and was very clean. Very quiet and relaxing.

Cozy property, tucked just far enough from the road to minimize any traffic noise and give grandkids a place to run around safely. Once you are out of the car, there is no need to get in again -- coffee, restaurants, convenience store, playground, beach are all an easy walk (or amble)

This cottage was well maintained and well equipped with everything you need. The cottage is decorated lovely and has such a warm and peaceful aura. Martha and Mark are wonderful hosts and so responsive if you have a question. The cottage is also in a great location. A beautiful waterfront park and Lighthouse Museum are located right across the street. The beaches and restaurants are also so close. We were able to rent a boat 5 minutes away from the cottage and spend the day exploring Sodus Bay. The local beach is also beautiful and just 5 minutes away. We also went for a beautiful hike in Chimney Bluffs State Park, which is about 20 minutes a way. It was so beautiful and worth the trip. We really fell in love with this cottage and Sodus Point and plan to return! Thank you Martha and Mark for a wonderful stay!

Our family enjoyed all that Martha's place and Sodus Point offered us! We all had our space while having quality areas to gather as a family. Everything we needed was there or close by. It's a peaceful place with lovely water views and sights to enjoy! We'd recommend checking it out

Enjoyed our stay in this peaceful cottage. Great location! Could see the lake from the patio. It was definitely enough space for the 4 of us. A quick drive to the Sodus Point Beach was lovely. Being across the street from the lighthouse was a bonus too. Owner responsive to messages!

All of the previous reviews said it all - this property is wonderful! It's clean, nicely decorated and has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. We stayed here with two young kids (ages 3 and 5) and our dog and it was perfect. We could walk to the beach from behind the lighthouse that is right across the street. I'd definitely stay here again!

The property is well maintained, owners are awesome! Nice little touches with a personal greeting on arrival by Martha. Fudge as a gift from the local fudge shop, flowers on the table. Very classy.

Home away home. Lovely neighborhood, lovely lakeside town, lovely everything.

My family and I spent 9 nights at Martha's place and really enjoyed it. The location was perfect...a quiet neighborhood with a view of the lake right across the street and also down the street. The place was immaculate and Martha had great suggestions of places to go and what to do. Definately try the Salt Bread at Youngmans if you haven't already, and if you have, go back for more. Chimney bluff state park 20 minutes away for cool erosion features and landscape. Liked the fact that the beach was a short walk or bike ride away. Backyard firepit and grill were really nice to have. Couldn't be happier. Enjoy your stay.
