Our extended family of 6 was in Houston for our niece's graduation and loved this property. It had plenty of space and we loved the deck! The location on Lake Conroe was great and the complex it's in is well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful!

My family and I stayed at Elise's place while we were in town for a wedding nearby. Her home is beautiful and the community it lovely! It was a little cold for water activities, but we loved sitting back and taking in the views. The park a short walk down the street was a huge hit with parents and kids alike! We had some issues with he thermostat when we checked in, but Elise and her husband were immediately on top off everything and ensured that we were comfortable from start to finish. She even sent over someone to find a highchair in a locked closet for us! Talk about service!! We loved our stay and hope to be back during warmer months to take advantage of the lake!

Not a good experience.

The house was spacious with lots of room for all our guests. We went on a walk each morning and enjoyed all the beautiful homes and friendly neighbors.

Nice property hood lake access with boat. The property manager/owner was very good with communication as we had quite a few people coming and going with my daughter’s birthday. Little tight on parking but golf clubhouse was able to be used for overflow and that worked out nicely. Will rent again if able.

Very nice! Location was great, property was very well stocked! Some of the mattresses could use upgrading. No face towels in house, had to go buy some! Back porch furniture had bugs & cat/dog hair all over! When the property indicates that it sleeps 10 & after 6 people renter is charged a fee, that is absurd!!

The home was perfect! From the moment we arrived it felt like home. Very comfortable and spacious. We did a lot of fishing and swimming. We will be back every summer.

This was a nice stay. The house was clean and the bedrooms were nice. The photos of the backyard are a little misleading, it appears much larger in photos. We brought yard games for our family to play but the backyard is pretty small, not a lot of space for a family of 9 to play, so we ended up not playing. The back patio is nice in the mornings. We enjoyed looking out at the lake while drinking coffee. Be warned, it is unbearable in the evenings. There are hundreds of mosquitos flying around and covering the wall/doors. We tried not to go outside at all because if we opened the door, mosquitos would come into the house. The owner was very nice and sent citronella candles for us to use but they did not help. The country club pool was nice. It is a short 5-minute walk from the house. We did have a small situation because another person in my family went to pay the fee instead of me because I stayed behind to take care of dinner, so be sure that the same person who booked the stay is also the one to pay for country club access. The listing doesn’t mention anything about submitting names, but you will be asked to submit first and last names of every person staying at the house, including small children. The reason was for security at the front entrance. Sharing names of small children made me uncomfortable, but felt I had no choice. Security only asked for names of the drivers. The owner was very nice and responsive all weekend. All in all, it was a nice house for a short stay.

Our family had a great time at this lake house property. House was a good size for our family. We stayed there 4-nights. It was a 3-bedroom 3.5 bathroom home with all bedrooms upstairs, beds were comfortable. One bedroom had 3 beds with stairs to a playroom style loft in it with another bed on the floor. TV worked in master room but no TV in one of the bedrooms. Nice sectional couch in living room. Washer and dryer were good and newer. Adequate outside seating, kayak and paddle board in backyard. Only huge downfall was there’s a driving range to the left end of the court which faces the water in front of these homes, and although the balls are supposed to go directly into the water in front of this property and the others next to it, however several balls throughout the day hit into the backyard while we were there which was alarming with our children (and ourselves) playing in the backyard, trying to kayak and paddle board in front of our area, and scared us as we would be fishing and all of a sudden a golf ball smacked our chair, dropped a few feet from where we we standing, hit the boat cover area, it was pretty constant. Only other issue, which is understandable, was the mosquitos and we all got bit up so badly so very quickly, within a few minutes the very first day walking out back to just look at the view. There was 2 citronella candles at the home but one was completely burned all the way down already and the other had melted really bad and was without wicks.

We had a great Father's Day Weekend. We enjoyed the early mornings and late nights on the covered back porch. We cooked, played cards, and listened to the radio, and when it wasn't scorching hot outside or too choppy, we went fishing, where we caught some 70 fish that weekend. The owner was very responsive and the area was very quiet and peaceful - we especially appreciated the fact that we could bring our fur baby, who had been suffering from cancer for some time. It was his last weekend before he passed away so the weekend was extra special for us.

Lovely property, everything we hoped for! We will have cherished life-long memories from our special time here.

We had a great time staying here for a long weekend. It’s a great location and a really beautiful house. I’m sure we’ll be back in the future.

The house is clean and updated. The location is in a quiet area on the lake. We would rent this home again. As a group of ladies dressing in costumes for two days, we appreciated that each bedroom has a full bath and the downstairs has a half bath.

Confusion at the guard gate, they made us exit and come back thru 3 times before we were allowed in the subdivision. Overall had a great time. Enjoyed our stay and accomodations were great.

Relaxing and well maintained property

Everything was clean, property was very nice and easy to access. We loved being on the water. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood.

I've rented many VRBO's all excellent, I guess I was due. The home was in good shape inside, clean, well supplied, and nice decor. We rented due to its location of being on the water. WE COULD NOT GO OUTSIDE DUE TO INFESTATION OF MOSQUITOS AND IT'S ON A GOLF DRIVING RANGE-PEOPLE ARE TAKING SHOTS LITERALLY INTO THE YARD YOU"RE OCCUPYING. Brilliant set up, not that there was any chance of getting struck because we had to stay inside, mosquitos were tearing us apart in spite of the effort. Shame on me for not researching enough, I did everything I could to make it work and barely scraped by. I cleaned cobwebs, fumigated with foggers, candles, tiki torches several hours and $$$ spent toiling to try and make a go of it for my daughter and her friends. For my efforts I was accused of hosting an underage drinking party for kids that don't drink. That was across the street. Just a miserable experience with even more miserable folks in the neighborhood, not all, there was this one nice person but they were renting too and left early. They should just rent to 85 year olds on life support, either the mosquito born illness will get them or an errant tee shot will do the trick. We did have guests throughout the day after I rented a boat, and that upset folks, young people trying to have good, clean, respectful, fun....how dare they!!! I can only say stay away, save your money, time, and peace of mind. These kids were and are all that I hope the future to be, to listen to someone speak of them in any lesser terms is unacceptable. "This is not a place for an 18 year old to have a bday party" said owner, it's also not a place to enjoy the lake, I highly recommend going elsewhere, anywhere else. I am guilty of not supplying a detailed list of attendees staying. I did supply the accurate number, just not names or additional visitors throughout the day, which I didn't believe would matter since they weren't staying. We cleaned and treated the place with great care. Good people of April Sounds, please forgive us of our ways, proper punishment is to never, ever, allow anyone else to step foot anywhere near you fine people again. That's a sentence we all deserve.

The lake house was ideally located in a very nice neighborhood. The house was very clean and spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and never had any issues. Elise provided all the information we needed and how we could contact her should we have questions. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property!

This was our family’s 2nd time at this lovely property. The accommodations are perfect for us. Be aware there is a golf target in the water for the driving range. While paddle boarding, you’ll dodge a couple of flying balls until you can go around to the next cove. Everything you might need is provided. The host is very communicative & super helpful. Love this place.

House was very spacious and location was good with access to the golf club. We enjoyed being able to dock our boat in the covered slip at the house so we could come and go on the lake. Also nice to have access to the paddleboard and kayak to use. Kitchen was well stocked and appreciated having an extra fridge for drinks in addition to main kitchen fridge. There were some issues with previous renters and the property manager communicated promptly to update on situation and answered other questions throughout the stay.

What an amazing stay. This is the best house to stay at on lake conore. Don't be fooled by the other listings. This owner takes pride in her house. She will take care of you.

The pictures need updating although home remodeled. The property is located inside a country Club with flying golf balls in which was almost hit on head! There is a check in at gate for anybody coming to visit (way to track who is visiting,I feel). Good view but lots of insects and plenty space in rooms but only TV is living room and master. ONLY thing I will recommend is to please do a walk through and inventory of everything UPON ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE. In the upper rooms was charged for older stains present when arrived and missing towels. The property is nice BUT there are deceitful things surrounding. If planning to fish , there is nowhere to cast out due to so close to golf course and you must bring toiletries. If we had known all this up front about golf course, limited TV and no space to cast fishing pole we would have not booked. I feel like when booking a stay at a property I would like to know everything before paying my money so I am able to make that decision before Booking. You see all of these things in contract like days before stay although communication with host was great! There was so many things we did not know prior to booking.

We had a great vacation with family. The house was wonderful and my family enjoyed are stay on the lake. We brought the boat and was able to use the slip. We also brought our fur babies and it was amazing.
