Very nice home with all amenities needed and close to activities

Sheri’s home was beautiful, clean, and in a safe community. Sheri was immediately responsive when we had a question. We enjoyed our stay and you will too!

My wife and I spent the month at this wonderful house. The location is awesome and it is easy to walk or bike the neighborhood. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. Sheri did a great job of communicating with us and we knew when the house was being cleaned as well as the pool. Had a great view from the lanai too. We really enjoyed our stay and the area.

Beautiful place. Very nice, helpful, cooperative owner. All good. Highly recommend.

Pros - Lovely house, nicely decorated, almost everything one needs, nice location great pool and lanai. Cons - Sewage backed up in two of three bathrooms on a Sat. night and she refused to deal with it until the next day and then asked if I wouldn't mind waiting until Monday when plumber was cheaper. Even though friends said I was crazy (smell and mess nasty) I said I would wait. She came on the Monday afternoon to clean up but didn't clean shower in lanai so stayed like that for next two weeks. When she came over to clean mess I introduced myself, and her reply was "well obviously", not nice to meet you, or terribly sorry this happened. Other issues -Dryer didn't work for first 10 days of my month long stay, bought drying rack to hang clothes but not good for towels or sheets. Didn't complain. -I am a tea drinker in morning and no kettle or teapot. I had to buy them. For the price of place they should have been provided. -No mop to sop water around pool area when it got wet I bought one. -Pool wasn't cleaned the whole month I was there, but she did come and put chemicals in. -Lot next door is empty, must be a city lot as trucks and workers in and out all day and start early in morning, the whole month I was there. -Third bedroom/art room, other than pull out couch was not set up in any way to be a bedroom. No closet/drawer space. I would say it is a 2 bedroom house that sleeps 6. -Master bedroom closets (2 of them) were jam packed with her things, there was little space for mine. A small space in one closet and another small space in another. Felt odd seeing her personal things every time I went in the closet. Hamper had dirty clothes in it. -Finally, I made a huge error in my scheduling and thought I was to leave on a Sunday when I was supposed to leave on the Saturday. Didn't discover this until two hours before I was supposed to be out. I asked her if it was possible to stay another night and thankfully she did accommodate me, but charged me an extra $100 inconvenience/gas fee. I felt that since I was so understanding about sewage and dryer, (and bought things I left) she could have not charged quite so much, especially since I stayed a mo. and requested to stay 6 weeks next year. I emailed owner when I got back to mention this is what I could write in a review, to give her a chance to respond but after 6 days no reply and she did read it as she took down my reservation for next year which I requested. First 2 wks. 5* now 2.5*.

Her home is located in a nice neighborhood and she has it well prepared for guests. Especially helpful was Sheri’s notebook of instructions that made clear her expectations from guests. In addition, she was always in touch by e-mail even though she was out of the country at the time. The pool was a special treat that we used nearly every day of our stay. I am happy that Sheri was willing to share her home with us. I highly recommend it.
