I was looking for an affordable vacay rental for some family coming to town, and this unit did not disappoint. It was as advertised. Charming accommodations with generously sized kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedrooms. The balcony and mini "Florida " room offered breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Coronado Islands, and other landmarks. We could see pods of dolphins and other aquatic life a few hundred yards from the property! There is a nearby trail with beach access that made it easy to enjoy beach activities. We found plenty of shells and other items to take home as souvenirs. There are helicopters operating from a nearby base at random times throughout the day, but you will not likely hear them over the ocean and they didn't bother us much at all. The sounds of the ocean were relaxing and would help any weary traveler get to bed after a long day touring the San Diego area. We had our own parking area so finding a place to park was never a problem. There are off property options as well. The owners were so generous and provided us with instructions for everything from using the laundry facilities to operating the TV. They answered any questions we had in a timely manner, and were easy to reach. I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for the next time.

We had a great oceanside experience staying at this property. The condo has a beautiful view, sea breezes, and all the comforts of home. It was very easy to work with the owner and we really enjoyed our stay!

We have rented this cozy condo for years ! We love the quiet location with the gorgeous beachfront views and the bird estuary behind you! You have everything you need. It has a well stocked kitchen so you can stay in and cook or go out It’s close to San Diego if you want to go to the major attractions but we come here to relax! We like that the condo is in a gated community. We really appreciate the owners. They are ALWAYS responsive if we have needs or questions. We consider them dear friends! This is an awesome rental. You will love it!!

Aside from amazing view, love the spaciousness of condo. Equipped with everything needed for monthly stay or longer…kitchen, bath, updated with a smart TV. Washer/dryer available (coin operated). Beats laundromat. Booked again next year says it all!

Great view from 2nd floor oceanfront unit. Clean and well furnished. The owner was extremely quick responding to questions. A great overall experience.

Amazing experience!! Oceanfront front living at its best :)) Ron is a great host who invests a lot of thought and intention into creating a memorable staycation for his guests. The property has amazing views of the ocean form the kitchen, living room, and deck. In the afternoon the reflection of the sun off of the ocean turns lights up the entire west half of the unit. One the east side of the unit there are views of Tijuana and the estuary. The unit has plenty of room and lots of closet space. We did lots of cooking and the kitchen is well stocked, there was even a coffee grinder that we put to good use. The neighbors were super friendly, and we ended up spending a few evenings having a glass of wine with them. I would go back in a heartbeat, and hope to next summer!

Just perfect! The ocean view was best of any oceanfront rental I’ve been in. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for cooking and plenty of dishes. So important for monthly stays. Ron and Cheryl are very responsive to any questions and issues that come up. and friendly. Felt very safe there. Nice to have washer/dryer on premises. Looking forward to staying next year!!

Views, views, views!!! You feel as if you are on top of the ocean and the waves will lull you to sleep. It’s a once in a lifetime experience!!! Enjoy the seals, dolphins and surfers out your windows! Paradise awaits with a quiet beach for daily strolls.

The hosts were excellent and the place was everything I'd hoped for...

This place is literally ON the ocean. We have been here many times and look forward to our next stay. Ron is so easy to communicate with.

Ron and Cheryl are wonderful hosts. The condo is fully stocked and very clean. The weather was a little overcast and it rained off and on but we did have some sun and beautiful clouds!! But the weather only added to the charm of the condo. It was romantic and relaxing. I highly recommend staying here....the sound of the waves is magical. We will definitely go back......we didn't want to even leave!!! 🤣😁❤️

The views from both the deck and the little sun room were stunning. We enjoyed watching the surfers, birds and tide go in and out. The owner was readily available and addressed any concern immediately. The condo was adequately equipped, clean and cheery. On some weekdays the helicopter traffic from the nearby navy airfield can be a bit annoying but, as the locals say, you get used to it. We would definitely stay here again!
