A 1 week stay. The location right next to Hilton Hawaiian Village and walking distance to Ala Moana. Well equipped kitchen and large balcony overlooking the pools, lagoon and ocean. The pools are great. The apartment must be updated. It needs refurbishing completely. The curtains, kitchen, bathroom etc needed to be redone. Furniture is ok but the sofa bed is not good.

The property was exactly as described. The view was amazing. We also enjoyed Dave’s Ice Cream. We would definitely stay here again. It was nice to watch the fireworks from our balcony. It is also very convenient.

We had a fantastic week in this place. Stayed there as a family of four. As we were out all day, the space was absolutely fine. It is well equipped and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. We enjoyed the walking distance to the beaches and shopping. We parked our car in the Marina parking garage which is only 2 minutes away.

We had such a great time. The place was great for what we needed. It was a good location and beautiful view. It had everything we needed. Only downside was the pots and pans were really well used and needed to be replaced. We didn’t want to cook with them. I also didn’t care about the room dividers just personal preference and therefore didn’t use them. The place could use some updating and was being worked on as it got a new couch after we checked out. Overall this place worked well for us on our trip and would rent again. The owner was nice and easy to communicate with.

We had an amazing stay. The location and the view of the condo made it incredible. The best part was all the beach items the host provided. The host had a beach cart for us to haul the beach chairs, cooler, and boogie board. We would stay at the condo again in a heartbeat.

This is the second time we stayed at Ilikai in as many months. We stayed for 3 nights Dec 30, 2023 as a pre-cruise tour of Waikik. We enjoyed the property so much that we booked 6-nights early February 2024. This time the condo unit is by comparison, aged but clean. However, all elevators in the building stopped working for a full day and remain two-thirds not functional for the balance of our stay. For a 25+ storied building, it was very hard for the residents. We are a couple in our late 70's. Carrying luggage for multi-floors/stairs was nearly impossible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Waikiki at the Ilikai Hotel VRBO. The bed was wonderful and firm. Air conditioning worked well. Pools were great. We had a lovely experience. Thank you.

We had a great prestay before our cruise. The room is a bit dated but well maintained and clean. Updated bath and kitchen. Great location to Waikiki but away from mass congestion. We watched the Friday night fireworks from our balcony. This property is a great value and easy walking to ABC store, shopping and activities. Thank you.

This condo was in a great location. Close to the beach and walking distance to shopping centers. Only con was that there were no beach towels provided. Other than that, great stay and highly recommend!

Cozy, beautiful view! Conveniently located! Valet parking with in and out service was well worth it and they were freaky fast!

Perfect location. The condo had a great view of the ocean, pools and lagoon. The condo itself was slightly worn down but clean. Minutes from the beach. Two nice pools. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance of the resort. The ocean is quite rocky but we managed with water shoes and saw lots of sea turtles! Overall great experience. We would highly recommend.

Overall great location. View is good. Had a great time awesome bell and car valet. Coded entry is great idea don’t need to mess with anyone just straight to the room and don’t need to carry a key card!

This place was a cute little condo that served it’s purpose…a clean place to lay our heads at night. It is a little dated but who comes to Hawaii to stay in their room all day, not me. All amenities were available to us…linens, towels, hygiene, kitchen supplies, beach supplies (even a wagon to carry and pull all these things) etc. and if anything else was needed, it was only a short elevator ride downstairs in the hotel/condo lobby store. Balcony view was great to wake up to every morning. Parking was fine, as stated. We parked in the marina garage ($28 per day), which was a short walk away passing through the adjacent hotel (can be tedious, if you’re tired or have to go to the bathroom) but it was nice exercise for all the good food I was eating. Parking spots were always available when we returned back for the night. Host was very responsive and even let us check in early. No complaints here, would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

The unit has a stunning view, you can actually see the ocean from bed! Description and photos are very accurate. There is laundry in the same level, easy access to swimming pools and beach/lagoon from unit. I have nothing to complain about the unit and we would stay there again next time we visit Hawaii. We love our stay!!

I enjoyed the stay at the llikai, the entry of the Motel was very clean, it was nice to walk into, the workers were very helpful. The room was clean just a few things need updating, overall I really enjoyed the room, view was fantastic! P.s. the balcony needed a bite more tender Love! As floor on balcony needs a scrub! 🤔 Pools areas were fantastic. 😎😎

Central location to access lots of shopping and big city part of Hawaii. Not for those looking for a quiet relaxing destination, this is big city/tourism Hawaii. Also, you have to supply all your own simple kitchen items, they do not provide sugar, salt, pepper, zip loc baggies, or any other simple things that other vrbo’s do. Overall very cool location and nice space!

We had stayed in this building 7 years ago and when we planned another trip to Honolulu we decided to go back to the building. Our unit was very clean, well equipped with dishes, pots and pans, bed was comfortable. The kitchen cabinets and stove are a bit dated … but that would be the only improvement I could see. The view from the balcony is amazing …. Location is very good. Walmart is about a 20 minute walk for our groceries. I would come back to this unit. Thank you

I traveled with my teenage daughter. I was born and raised on Oahu in the Waikiki area ( my family is now mainland and big island) so we were on our own.The Ilikai seemed a good choice and it was. The view was lovely and just as pictured. The services and immensities of the hotel are wonderful. The cleanliness of the unit was not the best, though I understand that is a contractor's issue. There was garbage and food and ketchup all over the garbage area under the sink upon our arrival. It was remedied with a trip to the managers but... the overall cleanliness was sub par for an otherwise nice unit. The bed was very comfortable but a fitted sheet instead of a too small sheet for the base would have been much more so. There was no way to tuck it in so it could stay put through the night. I like to cook and did often and the kitchen was serviceable enough. I would definitely like to stay in the unit again and would recommend it. It is an excellent value for the view and amenities.

Very close to the laundry room on this floor, a plus when you are a senior.

We would like to thank the property manager for being responsive and willing. They were great.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we asked the valet lady if we just unload, and they take the car. She walked away from us. So, then I went to her counter to ask again, to be frank she was a witch with a B! We refused to park there the next 3 days of our stay. Paid less than half the price in the marina next door and so much happier. The price we had to pay for cleaning was crazy, then to find a dead lizard/geico beside the bed. There is no ceiling vent in bathroom, wallpaper is peeling and seems to have mold where the seams meet. The water beaded above our head in shower. And nearly feel first time using toilet it's SO low to the ground, terrible for someone with hip/knee problems. Couldn't find a remote for AC and wasn't climbing on the bed, we froze at night. The bed should have deep pocket sheets, the one on there came untucked every night. Best part was the view.

This property is awesome & comfortable. Just as listed & the view is the best! Morning breakfast on the balcony is perfect. Easy access to the beack.

The positives are, the Ilikai, it's in a good location with great amenities. This was our third stay at the Ilikai but this time we were pretty disappointed. What I can say good about this unit is the view, it's fantastic, and the bed was comfy. The online pictures show a dated condo unit, but it looks clean, right? That is not what it looks like in reality. In reality the walls, kitchen cupboards, refrigerator and front door are covered in black scuff marks and stains, and are sticky, the wallpaper is peeling, here there and everywhere, the cupboards and drawers smell awful like old musty moldy wood. Kitchen utensils, and dishes are quite dated and were not very clean. There are several chips in the floor and stains along the trim and door frames. The furniture is extremely worn and stained. Even the patio was dirty and the patio furniture was stained and very old. I wish I was able to attach some real pictures of this unit on this review. It's obvious that this condo has not been maintained well for many years, dated is fine but this goes beyond. Pay $50 to a $100 more a night for another unit here, we wish we had.

This unit is not an upscale condo but has some very nice features. The views are exceptional, it’s reasonable, and very clean. The patio furniture is not very comfortable but you’re in Hawaii so you’re not really sitting on the patio much. I would definitely rent again.

My daughter and I had our first girls get away, and this location was perfect! Right on the beach. The view from the room was incredible. Walking distance to everything we needed, and car rental in lobby. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

We wanted to be near the Marina to avoid the heavy beach crowd and the location is exactly what we wanted. Beachside location, access to local restaurants and beautiful sunsets was on our list and this rental provided it perfectly.

The bedding was old the bottom sheet was everywhere but on the mattress. The cupboards had a mildew smell the couch worn out sank to the floor. Best part pools amazing care of the actual property dynamite great view of Friday fireworks. For a small sum of money the uncomfortable lanai chairs could be replaced and the ten cent table. The curtains don’t close completely these small things could make a huge difference And the wallpaper in the bathroom is coming off the wall. Teresa

This property is the perfect size for 2! It is a a great location on waikiki beach. All the things you need for a get away are provided. I needed to contact the owner and they responded right away. Very easy to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking at a vacation in Oahu!!
