Wonderful stay with the Vega Rios family!! The friendliness and kindness of our hosts made our trip that extra special, we were treated like part of the family, nothing ever seemed too much and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We are looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to David. The property is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, only a short taxi or bus ride away from many supermarkets and food places. Taxi's are frequent in the neighborhood and buses to several destinations stop just a 10-15 min walk from the house. Do not hesitate to book this property you will not regret it 🌞

I caught Dengue (a tropical disease) a couple of days before arriving to David. Due to the incubation period the disease manifested itself only in David. So, I spent 10 days in bed here. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Treated me with fruits, lemon tea. Bought me meds that I requested and drove me to the hospital when I needed it. So, I'm very grateful to them. Pluses of the location: - very nice hosts; - a kitchen with all required; - I frequently saw black squirrels from the window of the apt. Also, not far from the apt I saw iguanas climbing some fruit tree. - the district is very calm and safe. A lot of houses here don't even have fences which is a rarity for Latin America. - the price was superb. One of the best that could be found on booking.

1. The climate is very hot here. At the time of my staying here the apt didn't have the A/C. But the hosts told me that they were planning to install one. This conversation was 2 months ago. Maybe it's already fixed. 2. The apt is outside of the city. The taxi to the terminal is $4. Uber works well, taxis arrive fast. Also, there are no supermarkets or cafes nearby. The nearest cafe and the shop are probably 2-3 km from the house. So, be ready to walk a little or to use a taxi, if you don't have a car.

As a 79-year-old man who has traveled three continents, I rate Acogedora vivienda anexa excellent. I was looking for a clean, quiet, affordable, hospitable venue and Acogedora filled all those aspirations superbly. Acogedora's spaces show a very high level of attention to detail by management. Hostess Yolanda is friendly and accommodating. When I return to David, Acogedora will be my first choice for booking.

I wasn't able to access hot water for showering which is not uncommon in Panama. Nevertheless, the shower and bathroom were fully up to my expectations otherwise and I had a refreshing shower in water of ambient temperature.
