Strategic location and friendly owner

Not convenient cause the toilet is only downstairs. The air of the aircond which needs to be shared with others totally can't flow into the room and it is super hot because I can't sleep well at night although there is a stand fan provided but the stand fan keeps making noise also. . Furthermore, the pressure of the shower head is very weak. I have to use the water scoop to fill the water from the tap for shower.

Great central location. Worth what was paid for the stay.

AC is on a timer at night. It's fine if you go to bed late, but if you're an early sleeper you'll be quite warm while trying to get to sleep.

Firstly Esther and Nicholas and their daughter gave us great recommendations locally to really experience the local food and culture. The beds were extremely comfortable and great value for money. Location is also great about 10 mins walk max from restaurants.

For me ok, but other guests might not like it. Room/bed is a madrass on the floor. and thin walls in between rooms. All that said I sleept so good there 👍

Great location, local night market around the corner and 10 minutes walk from the street art and old town areas. Esther was so helpful and friendly and kept in contact with us about check in and check out times to meet us. Accommodation was very clean and excellent value for money. We were around Ipoh for a few days so returned for a second night stay as we were so happy with our first experience.

- The owners didn't work all the time, so their kids took care of our check-in. They must have been around 12 and 8 y/o. Child labour? Was quite late in the evening as well. Didn't feel good. - The rooms weren't really "rooms", they were more like stalls with sliding doors and walls that didn't reach the ceiling. Could hear the neighbours flip in their beds. - Our "room" really was the same size as the bed. Like no joke, could barely fit our bags. The bed was a mattres on the floor. - During our stay they started renovating the area we lived in, so everything had an insanely strong chemical smell. Didn't really feel good to sleep in that oudor, felt a bit toxic. Had to open the window, and instead have a problem with a noisy street outside.
