Warm welcome, excellent facilities, quality towels and linen, very clean, quiet neighbourhood, attractive decor, well equipped, splendid views, supermarket and restuarant within walking distance, short drive to beaches and main tourist attractions on Mauritius. Helpful advice and guidance from Host, all facilities demonstrated and in good order. Very good sized rooms and well laid out to enable a relaxing stay. Pleasant balcony with good views. Safe and quiet area, parking on quiet road directly ouside gate.

Website details need updating, local sea front is ok to sit by and interesting but no beach or swimming possible. Air conditioning controls a bit fiddly, TV no signal but equipped for games etc. Bed a little firm for some peoples needs. Front bedroom only, available at time of stay, other two currently being refurbished.

Ursula ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und immer per WhatsApp für Fragen erreichbar. Wir haben uns in ihrer Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles geräumig, Bad mit 2 Waschbecken und eine zusätzliche Toilette. Mit einer großen Sofaecke, 2 Balkonen in unterschiedlichen Richtungen und einer riesigen Dachterrasse gibt es sehr viele Ecken zum Entspannen und Genießen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben etliche Male selber gekocht und es hat super geklappt. Unser Bett war auch angenehm und wir haben gut darin geschlafen (Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer vorhanden). Frühstück am Balkon mit Palmen vor der Nase und Blick aufs Meer und den Le Morne Brabant ist einfach traumhaft. Man ist in maximal 10 Fahrminuten an einem der schönsten Strände der Insel und genauso in 10 Minuten am Chamarel viewpoint, wo man von oben einen weiten Blick genießen kann. Im Ort gibt es einen großen Supermarkt mit Bäckerei (Café) nebendran und mehrere kleine Obst/Gemüsestände und ein bisschen Streetfood. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Ecke mit einem gemütlichen Nest zum Wohnen. Danke Ursula für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Nachts gibt es Hundekonzert und Froschgesang ;-) - das gilt aber für den ganzen Ort und war mit Ohrstöpseln kein Problem für uns. .

The villa is very well located close to the supermarket and restaurants. it is very comfortable, and had everything we needed. we were also warmly welcomed.

The very spacious accommodation was spotless and had everything we could have asked for. It was great value for money and the large roof terrace offered a lovely view.

Mrs Ursula is an absolute gem, even though we are mauritians she gave us tips on where we could eat in la gaulette. Communication went smoothly with her before the stay (so sorry for changing our arrival time 😕), but she had the patience with us. The accomodation was perfect for our big family, a well equipped place, with everything you need for a short stay.
