Beautiful house, clean, shady and comfortable

The house was gorgeous and plenty of space for the 5 of us. House was very clean. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending at the local resort.we would love to come back again and stay in this house!!

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the views of Castle Crags and the mountains from the upstairs room. We also appreciated the upstairs open floor plan with the big windows. It felt like a tree house and natural light was wonderful. Everything was clean and the beds were really comfortable. It was nice being so close to downtown and the mountain and lakes.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mt. Shasta, the skiing was great and the accommodations were wonderful. It was great to spread out and the place was really nice.

Good place to stay while snowboarding. Relatively close to the mountain and comfortable to come back to after a long day 😊

We truly enjoyed our stay in Mt Shasta. The house was just outside the downtown area so we were close to everything and anything we might need. The house was very clean, comfortable, and roomy. We loved the private back deck and the comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again if we revisit this area.

Excellent supplies in kitchen. Very good beds. Plenty of towels and bathroom sundries. Easy walk to restaurants and coffee shop. Could use a cocktail table in the living room, but otherwise a comfortable place. Good communication with realty agent. Overall, very satisfied.

My family and I enjoyed our recently stay at the Mountain House in Mount Shasta these past two weeks as much as the last time we stayed here a year and half ago. Super clean and comfy house with easy access to downtown, eateries and shops.

Great Rental

The door lock code was sent ahead of time which made getting in easy. No keys needed. Great location getting to Mt Shasta for skiing as you are on the south side of town. Also close to downtown restaurants. We walked and grabbed food from JK’s Knotty Grill only a block down the road.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. We liked the different floor plan, with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the kitchen and living room upstairs. The beds were very comfortable and the linens and towels were immaculate. The heating system worked perfectly and was modern and easy to use. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. As an example of the home being well-stocked, the fire alarm in one of the bedrooms started chirping one morning and I figured we would have to go out and buy a battery. I was pleasantly surprised to find a box of 9 volt batteries in the upstairs pantry. The decor was tasteful and cute but not cluttered. Our family loved the reclining couches, gas fireplace, and TV in the living room. The home was a cozy place to come back to after a day in the snow. We would definitely come back!

Very clean there was plenty of hand soap tolier, adorable house, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had great cookware even the knives were sharp enough to cut everything we had. Highly recommend. Also great location close to stores, the ski park and all the sledding spots. Best place we have stayed since we have stayed in the years we have been coming.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lazy boy sofa was a wonderful treat after whole day hiking! Walk distance to cafe, restaurants, a beer garden-alike nursery serving beer and wood fired pizza, just awesome! The owner was very responsive! We’ll definitely come back for revisit!

My friend said, that she slept better than at home and asked about the blanket made :) In generally, the house is absolutely amazing - super clean, warm and with all necessary stuff.

This property was great for our group, coming up to Shasta for our annual vacation in the snow. Very quiet at night, we all got great sleep, the better to tackle the slopes which were a short 20 minute drive away. Train comes by in the evening but as far we could tell it stops by 10pm. Much quieter than anything in Dunsmuir. Heater’s quiet too. Super close to coffee for morning coffee runs. Would stay here again 10/10

We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back! Lovely home situated in walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and Main Street. Also, very close drive to Mt Shasta Ski Park. Warm and cozy, clean interior with three separate bedrooms for privacy. Great and easy communication from hosts.

Weekend getaway with teens and adults. House was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Close to restaurants and shopping and easy to find.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property over the Christmas holiday. The home is lovely, very clean, and quite comfortable. Lisa and her husband were very pleasant and responsive to our phone calls about using the TV remote and the coffee maker. They also offered us sleds for the child in the family. We will definitely look into renting their house again on our next trip to Shasta.
