The heater did not work and the vent to it had lint in it. The toilet leaked. The radio did not work, only static, and the volume control did not work. I asked for a wake up call at 6:30. I was called at 5:30.

Walking into the hotel, the lobby was very nice. Modern, clean, smelled good too. After checking in, I grabbed a room cart and took the elevator up to the 5th floor. Getting out with the big room dolly was tricky, since the elevator was in the corner and the floors are 45° angle. The carpet was filthy. There was water stains on the walls next to the window. Scratches on the wall(dark blue paint/deep sheet rock scratches). The AC unit plug didn't reach the wall outlet unless you removed the whole unit cover. I called front desk to tell them about the AC. He was going to send maintenance up. I called again after waiting and requested another room. Room #2, same dirty carpet, basic room, window shades were the best part. Bed was not very cozy at all.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and check-in was quick. However, once we got to the room, we encountered several issues that were unexpected for a hotel of this caliber. One of the headboards was falling off and appeared crooked, while the paint throughout the room was damaged, giving it a much-needed makeover. In the bathroom, the towel holder above the toilet was bent and seemed on the verge of falling off the wall, which was concerning with young children around. Additionally, there was no mini fridge or microwave, despite a noticeable space where the fridge should have been. Even thought it is very close to many shops and restaurants I don't think I would recommend this hotel.

I arrived to the hotel after a tough, 8-hour drive from Norhtern California. The check-in was efficient and a package I had sent was waiting for me. The room was comfortable and clean. My two-day stay was quiet as some hotels have guests that are rude and careless. I recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a god nights sleep.

The phone didn’t work and the shampoo and conditioner is not good and they don’t provide body wash

Pros:The lobby is nice, the staff is friendly and the parking is free which is great. The location is safe and convenient with a large shopping center across the street. Cons: The beds are terrible. Double beds with thin mattresses that move and make noise. Worst sleep in a long time. To add, the walls are thin and the noise from the outside and neighbors did not add to the experience. There are physical signs of wear and tear all throughout the rooms and property. I would not choose to stay here again.

Excellent stay great service

Check in with super easy, parking was really convenient. The location is awesome because it’s walkable to so many things. The room seems pretty rundown, and the pillows are all cheap cotton. It would have been nice to have a variety. The AC worked well.

Everything is clean. It would be perfect if there were mini fridge and microwave. I would recommend this hotel for a short trip to Orange County.

Enjoyed my stay; hotel was very nice. The restroom could have been a bit better, other than that the room was comfy.

When I got there, there had been three cars broken into. And then the next night, they were either vandalized or robbed. The front desk person told me to park in their garage because it’s safer than the open parking. And, the cameras are better in the parking garage. Great water, pressure and fast elevators however. The hallways are pretty beat up from baggage carts and wear and tear. Time for updating finishes.

It was a clean and nice room. Unfortunately, no microwave or refrigerator.

The staff was very nice. The room was overall comfortable. The only thing is that the pool was very small and did not seem to be well taken care of and the jacuzzi has not working and seemed very dirty. Gym was also small.

The service was excellent and the room was super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. My only complaint was that it would have been nice to have a fridge. There was a spot where there used to be a fridge but it was removed.

Rating: 2 stars I recently stayed at the Huntington Beach Hotel during the Pacific Air Show, and while the staff were absolutely lovely, the hotel itself really needs some upgrades. From the moment you walk in, the carpets are visibly dirty and worn out all the way to the rooms. The pool? Honestly, I wouldn’t even consider swimming in it—it was that bad. On top of that, the hotel is right next to a club (Oktoberfest), and the music was loud until around 2 AM, making it tough to get any sleep. I wanted to try something different for this trip, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again. The staff did their best, but the hotel’s overall condition left a lot to be desired.

Not well kept and they overcharge your credit card

Hotel is in poor shape, rundown rooms, broken, cracked, and missing tile in bathroom, Dirty, stained tub, filthy grout.

I wish I would’ve taken pictures of this place. Period. I do not know how to get 3 1/2 stars. This place is outdated and musty. The swimming pool was so much chlorine in it. It burned my eyes just being in that room not in the water. everything was owed and dated. Will not be back again

I recently stayed at the Huntington Beach Hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel was clean, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. However, I was disappointed to find that my room did not have a refrigerator. Additionally, the refrigerator machine on my floor was not working, which would have been a convenient feature to have. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the hotel's amenities.

The staff was very pleasant at check in, that’s where the positives end. The lobby furniture was dirty, one elevator was out of service(from the lower garage), ice machine on our floor was broken, carpeting throughout the entire building was disgustingly dirty at best, obvious water damage and broken baseboards pretty much entering every corner or hallway, DUCT TAPE holding down the carpet not only in the hallways but in OUR ROOM, extremely dilapidated furnishings in the room, broken toilet roll holder, something ripped off the bathroom wall(patched but not painted), wall receptacle in bathroom cover was broken, broken and water damaged tile in bathroom, and on and on and on. I don’t think there’s enough room here to list everything that was damaged, broken or in disrepair. The carpeting in our room looked like a scene from forensic files and was so dirty we didn’t want to go barefoot. The duct tape on the carpeting was the final touch to a hotel that is in desperate need of renovation or possible demolition or remodel. Not sure what the people giving it a 10 rating are on, but this was one of the most disappointing stays I’ve encountered in years. If I could give it a negative rating that would be too kind. Disgusting.
