Was well located for our trip. Property was old and looked old. In hallways carpet worn right through. Not great value for what we got.

Staff were great, but it is not clear that disabled parking was down out of sight by the front door. Also, on a fairly quiet night, they sent my husband ( remember disabled?) on a floor when we went in the entrance, was 2nd farthest from the far exit. The hall way( they did have it taped to avoid tripping hazard) was part concrete and part carpet. I realize they are renovating, but with such a big place, they couldn’t do any better? Can staff not see an older person with a cane and put them closer? We have had this courtesy in many other hotels. Disappointed, and will not return.

Disappointed in the condition of the room. Toilet rocked and thumped when you sat on it. The plug in the bathroom sink was old, cracked and moldy. Such a simple thing to replace. The air conditioner was beyond noisy. It rattled more than my first car. I was sent downstairs to get ice and it was a Stephen King movie down there. Floor was broken concrete. The ice machine was behind a cleaning cart and the conditions of walls and doors down there was gross. I do have one good thing to say and that is that the cleaning crew did a good job with what they had to work with. The room was as clean as a ratty room could be. The staff was helpful so it seems that management needs to step up and put a little money into some very simple things to help the rooms from being creepy. We won’t stay at this one again.

Fantastic checkin experience — really friendly & helpful staff who were pleasant and efficient. The property itself is in a significant state of disrepair. Entire sections of the hallways have had the carpet torn up, our bathroom door was broken, the toilet tank lid didn’t fit, etc. The entire hotel is in urgent need of general repair and needs an overall update as well. I wouldn’t stay here again while it’s in this state: it’s definitely not worth the cost.

The facility doors were wide open through the day, anyone could’ve walked in. The room smelled of very strongly perfumed cleaner or air freshener that almost made our eyes water. The carpets in the hall were half ripped out. Sawmill in front ran 24 hours but we should’ve done more research before booking. The pool was great, rooms were clean. Breakfast was sufficient and the restaurant upstairs was convenient after a long day of sightseeing. Better choice would’ve been further up the coast.

Disappointed with this hotel. I expected better from a Days Inn. There was one luggage cart available, maneuvering from the parking lot into the building was difficult due to potholes in parking lot and narrow doorway. Pillows lumpy. Checkin was friendly, checking out was indifferent

Our room was clean and was perfect for us! It had a separate area for work, a couch, refrigerator and microwave with a tv right there if we wanted to watch to watch it. The bed was comfortable. And another tv near the bed. The staff were very friendly, and helpful and check in and out was easy and quick. They had a breakfast every morning! The lady working there was so friendly, worked hard to see that all was ready, and people’s needs met! Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. And as we were leaving we met an employee named Ed. Such a wonderful man that we spent a few extra minutes speaking too! We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, family and those reading this! Thank you for your hospitality!

Mouse crap on towel, disgusting stain on couch, curtains would not fully close, some loud dripping sound all night, fridge leaked water on floor before we even used it , not carpet in the hallway and hallway was dirty, outside doors unlocked and homeless people going through garbage

Worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at.

Our family enjoyed our stay in Nanaimo; it was easy to get around from the hotel to places in city. Staff were friendly and the rooms were well kept.

The property was undergoing some renovations that was not communicated when I booked within the app.

Upon arrival the toilet paper holder was broken and wouldnt stay on wall....should have been 4 pillows on each bed not 3.....and not very sound proof as we had a bottom floor and could hear the people in room above us walking around and closing drawers sounded like pounding footsteps ( during night) and toilets were too low especially for older people..pool needed more chairs and bathroom and change area in pool area needs a makeover.....restaurant was fantastic...food and portions were very good and servers were fantastic.....

Between the lack of carpet, prostitutes wandering in the halls and being questioned why we needed an extra blanket for our room I really can’t decide which surprised me most.

Only thing that wasn’t so good was the people staying next and across from us. Slammed doors until 130 am. If there was an option for being loud I would have rated it one star!

Smelled like mold, flooring missing, fridge froze all our food, too costly for what was provided, pool full of dirty bandaids, hole in ceiling, bathroom too small.

Ultimately, this place was adequate for our one night stay, but overall the hotel was kind of crummy. Not clean, unfriendly and unhelpful staff, run-down property, inconvenient and unpleasant access to pool, breakfast, ice, etc. Not the worst place I’ve stayed, but definitely sub-par and not recommended.

Noisy Air Conditioner and uncomfortable/ noisy bed.

Stay Was fine. Kitchenette had everything we needed to cook meals. Pool and hot tub were great and open late. Did not find the included breakfast very good.

The breakfast was good. The location was also convenient for us from the port.
