Great water slides and pool for the kids, staff were great as well. The hotel and pools are aging, but priced accordingly. Would definitely stay again.

We've stayed a few times over the past 12 years and nothing has changed which makes it feel dated. The staff in the restaurant were awesome as was the food. We did not feel the same about those on reception.

The place looked good in the photos and the amenities for kids are great and it has a casino connected to it. The restaurants look good as well, although the breakfast is very bland and a lot of stuff tastes cheap. The pancakes were always rock hard on outer edges. The rooms were very basic and old nothing really updated. They don’t tell you things like you need to hang a card on door to get your room cleaned and there were some promotions we weren’t offered when we arrived.

Bed was broke glass mirrors hanging broken duct taped above entrance laundry broken hot tub broken pool ladder broken, its not safe i may ask for my money back!

The hot tub has apparently been broken for four years, all but one of the ice machines were out of order, it was generally just shabby. The kids liked the water slides.

We had a quick one night stay at this hotel. The kids loved the water slides and the pool area. They loved overlooking the pool from the balcony from our room, we loved the dining options on-site as well as the many close options around the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Will definitely come back again!

Clean and nice breakfast

We had booked a king suite which we discovered upon arrival had a nicely renovated bathroom. Unfortunately, this renovation did not include a tub. Not only do we prefer a tub for comfort, but it serves as therapy. The staff was excellent when we took our concerns to them and worked hard to accommodate us. This was a long weekend and the hotel appeared fully booked, so this was no easy feat. The end result was our being upgraded to a suite which enabled us to be the gathering spot for our extended family travelling from four different cities across Alberta and Saskatchewan in celebration of a milestone birthday within the city. A suggestion: please rethink renovating ALL bathrooms to shower only. There should always be a tub option to accommodate various needs. This detail should also be disclosed within the descriptions of the room on the booking sites. Despite very disappointing food and service at one of the restaurants within the hotel at the only meal we went out for, our families will return to the lodge in the future because of the friendly, competent Staff, dog-friendly rooms, pool and waterslides.

Choice of restaurants. Cleanliness was poor, the carpets were terrible, breakfast wasn’t good. The Hotel needs to spend some money,

This used to be a properly kept facility. Its current owners have let it decline to a sad state of itself. All about getting your dollar and nothing more

Fridge did not work, tub filled up with water after 5 seconds and just overall so run down.

We have stayed here a handful of times. The outside/parking lot always looks a mess. But the inside is clean. They have a nice bbq/court yard area you can use. The pool is awesome. The free breakfast is GROSS every time! Overall a great place to stay. But not a 5 star experience.

Will never stay there again

I have me er stayed in a hotel where the mattress was so bad that I suffered backaches both nights ,you sit on the edge of bed in middle and both ends rise up ,the mattresses are in very poor state ,well the one I had was In room 152 . The breakfast was terrible ,my daughter stuck to yogurt and fruit as she said the egg was like pasty processed egg out of a packet ,pancakes were hard ,croissants tasted stale .. The only one thing we was satisfied with was the meal in hotel restraunt ,chicken Kiev was fantastic ..

Signs of showing age

The good: The kids loved the water slides and pool. The beds and room is comfortable. The lobby/dining area looks fantastic. Needs improvement: The bathrooms need an update- the toilet and shower were in poor condition. The water slides need serious maintenance. All the metal work and bolts were rusting. The bottom of the pools were stained. The hot tub was out of service.

Hotel is still a good place to stay and have gatherings. Spa was not open with no explanation no indication when it will be. Hotel is getting dated and our room had a tap that was leaking on the floor, another of our rooms had only hot water and had to be moved to another. Ice machine on the 3rd floor was not in service obviously for some time.

No complaints. Very nice suite and pool area!

The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We booked a room on Expedia which denoted it was “pet friendly” but no pet friendly rooms were available. The staff found a way to accommodate us. after driving 12h, this was so appreciated. The front desk staff member named Paige was exceptionally kind and helpful and deserves a raise!
