I’ve stayed here before on the executive floor and was pleased with the room. However, this time I was given a room on floor 6 and the condition of the room was awful. Dried urine on the toilet seat, stained carpets, drinks spilled and stained walls, splashed liquid on the furniture, soiled towels, and best of all, a clump of blonde hair under my pillow that must have been stuck on the bed.
They could not offer me another room as they were fully booked. They offered to clean the room, which should have been done before check in. They offered a 50% discount off of one night.
Until they update the hotel, I’d recommend staying away as it is tired and dirty.

Very outdated for a large hotel. No screen play on the tv, you have to have a cube and phone cord to charge your phone. The shower heads are very old. Wouldn’t come here again.

We love our stay in this hotel. I already stayed here previously and we loved it. It’s like a renewal of loving this place all over again. The staff are very hospitable and friendly. We checked in and out easily. Bed is comfortable, the sheets are clean and sanitized properly & there’s enough towel plus some. The lobby smells amazing. It’s eco friendly with the the supplies. The most important of all, there’s a sense of peace knowing that there’s security roaming around the parking lot.

I booked the reservation with a high floor. I waited for 4hrs and gave management a heads-up, I needed a floor and could wait. Was not honored and never made attempt to make up for it, other than a sorry.

First room, bed broke and moved to another room and the furniture and coffee maker was dirty.

Housekeeping came banging on my door in the morning and wouldn't stop. Had to get out of the tub.. couldn't understand what she was yakking about so had to grab some clothes and put them on to open the door! She wanted to know what time I was checking out?! I have until 11 . That was really obnoxious and annoying. I paid for the room until checkout and do not expect to be bothered .

My recent stay at Sonesta San Jose - Milpitas was excellent. The premises were spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed with the swimming pool and spa facilities, which added a luxurious touch to my stay. These amenities provided the perfect way to relax and unwind. Smoked cigarettes and then they cleaned trying to mask the smell. Hotel is older and could use a facelift. The main lobby floor is nice but the the rooms are very outdated with poor ventilation. Shower/ tub was rusted.

From walking into the building, check in process with easy and checking out was also friendly. Staff are helpful and friendly. The only complaint that we have is the mattress was firm for our comfort and uncomfortable nights sleep because we have a soft mattress at home. Thank you.

0. WiFi is so bad, I cannot even connect to it during three days staying. Signal for T-Mobile and Verizon is also not good there, be prepared about this.
1. It is walkable and very close to tons of authentic Chinese restaurants.
2. Safe and clean.
3. No USB port and remember to bring a charger.
4. You can clearly hear what happened outside the door.

Room facing parking lot where dumpster is located. Garbage pick up in early morning and we were awakened by the noise. Housekeepers talked loudly with each other in hallway and across the rooms. Very disappointing.

We always enjoy our stays at Sonesta. Never a complaint. I just wish the charge for having our little Morkie was lower. And that there were two comfortable chairs so both of us could have one. I don’t know why hotels just give you one. oh well.
