On or departure morning none of the elevator were working my 80 year old mom had to walk down 4 flights of stairs which is very difficult for her but she had no other option.

This is a nice resort. Plenty of pools to keep everyone happy and an atmosphere available for all types. We like peaceful and calm and we had no problems finding that. Everyone was nice and I appreciate that they had water readily available.

Stayed at the Rumfish location, nice that we could us the Tradewind facility as well. Front desk staff could be better and should learn to be more helpful. Originally we were in the Mahi building. as soon as we walked into the room, it was hot humid and everything was damp; floors bedding and all. Initially we assumed it was the hot climate and cranked up the AC. Unpacked and went for a walk. Came back and changed for dinner, still the AC showing 74. Came back from dinner and still very damp. Went to the front desk and notified them; this young guy was the the only friendly and helpful person. He offered to send change our room since it was so late in the night. so we had to packup and change rooms to the main building. Nice room and nice view. Day later met the neighbor and they had a leak in the bathroom, and man slipped in the bathroom pool of water. Oddly, same afternoon when we were trying to get ready for dinner, we had a leak in our bathroom. Hotel is rundown and in dire need of repair. Asked front desk if leak was fixed and guy lied to us saying they would not be informed. When asking for late checkout, Chris said, they were fully booked and room would be allocated to next guest - so you going to give some else a room with a leak?? He also knew we had an issue. Would have been nice to be compensated for a the huge inconvenience.

The hotel was very nice. I loved that we had access to amenities at both Island Grand and RumFish. There was so much to do for everyone. The beach was breathtaking. The sun was extra hot so we were very thankful for access to the cabanas.

Plenty of activities for the money. Nice building and grounds. Right on St. Pete Beach. Very friendly staff. Quiet and safe.

Check in was very slow. Rooms are average. Pool and amenities were average.

Excellent resort

The property was dated and the cabana I rented which is $50 to rent was ripped and old. We arrived Tuesday they cleaned Wednesday we left Saturday no one showed up to clean again. We had to complain. They sent us to a time share presentation on property promising no more than 2 hours at 2 hours a very high pressure salesman who use techniques including questioning our intelligence told me and I quote I paid for your time and it will be 2 hours plus a tour plus another sales pitch or no gift card which meant we were there almost 3 hours on our vacation which was not ok. When we talked to management they apologized and gave me a cool for a few free sodas but can’t use that at the restaurants h. The amenities are are dated as well and the room which was supposed to be a king bed was 2 full so me and my husband had 2 beds. I will never return

We really like the cabanas and hottub. The hotel is on the beach. The aqua aerobic instructor did an excellent job. The maintenance crew was amazing fixing any issue immediately. What we really didn't like that there was not enought light in the kitchen, specifically over the kitchenette's counter. There was no cutting board, paper towels, and only 1 fork. Overall, we enjoyed over trip. All the stuff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return. P.S. We were really upset about $25 parking on top of the resort fee of $55. There is no parking available around but at the hotel.

It was a nice stay overall. We ended up buying into bluegreen. Was not expecting to get an offer to go see the 2 hr presentation, but was offered some cash vouchers and we agreed to go. Service was top notch. Loved the pool grill burgers and the beach food service were the best, and we also enjoyed the Italian restaurant. A bit pricey but good gfoid and service.

Outdated and dirty room needs mowing smells like mold. Does not have a Resort feel at all. In desperate need of updating. Extra charges for everything which inflated the overall price.

The carpet was dirty The staff tried to get us to pay $40 to get invited to the timeshare event where they give you $250 and a 7 day free vacation (???) why would i give you $40 if im supposed to be getting $250? the property is super dated elevators dont work the halls reek of mold and mildew the food options at the restaurants are poor $62 resort fee per night but not all amenities included told us we were “upgrading” our room for an additional $20/day, the room was horrible. Two full size beds, not even queens. They make it hard to relax and unwind due to the lack of cleanliness. Their area of the beach isnt too exciting. As someone who usually goes to clearwater, i would not return to stay in St Pete. Food options are good if you know what to look for The staff was ok, the front desk people are extremely annoying and pushy, they just want you to spend more money. The property is nowhere near being a cute, fun resort. This vacation was supposed to be perfect, and the place just was not up to expectations at all. the pictures make it seem a lot nicer. the room is just so uncomfortable

It was nice however we didn’t like the extra charges for the activities on the resort. We also had to pay extra if we wanted a cabana on the front row or 2 cabanas-there was 3 of us. There was nobody there. Also some free activities were not running/ paddle boat and the slide.

What I saw on the advertisement before I booked was not what I got when I arrived.

Overall it was a great experience. We loved how everything was set up and accessible. The only complaint we have would have been housekeeping. We were there for a total of 5 nights. On the 3rd night no one cleaned our room or restocked essentials and my daughter had to walk over and ask one of the housekeepers for fresh towels and wash cloths. On our last night the housekeeper took all of the used towels out of the room but did not replace them with fresh towels. We actually had to use our pool towels for showers without wash clothes.

Great Location, Beach and Amenities

Great property in a wonderful position on the St Pete Beach. Access to lots of pools and hotel amenities. Lovely staff too.

We arrived at night and at first, I was disappointed because the property was a bit dated. However, when the sun came up and I realized you are not staying here for the room. The location is beautiful and with multiple pools we had no problem finding a quiet spot. Ample pool chairs and cabanas on the beach. The room had an amazing view and had all the comforts of home for families and or possible longer stays. All the employees were wonderful here. Kristine in the coffee shop was amazing and so knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Hair left in the bathroom:(. Otherwise nice place just needs updating

The property is a little dated, but very clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was great and food was amazing. A lot of activities available for everyone. My family and I had an amazing time and we will be back.

Like it but only one elevator on my side of the hotel

The hotel itself is great, the staff was very helpful. Oliver is my new bestie! He helped us so many times. A couple complaints on our room itself, when we walked in it has a stale smell like the doors hadn’t been opened in weeks, the ceiling was chipping, the bathroom door had visible water damage, and it WAS HOTTTT! We turned the ac down as far as it allowed (68) and both my husband and tossed and turned and woke up sweating. I will be back but if I get room 4737 again I will ask for a different room.
