Overall it was a good 2 days stay. Breakfast got options too.

I made a quick trip to Encinitas for a spa day and hiking trip (Annie's canyon). The hotel had a convenient location as it was near my activities, as well as the freeway and the main strip near the beach. The room was clean and quiet (surprising considering how close the freeway is)! The room seemed to be recently renovated where a lot of the fixtures seemed new; I couldn't get the bedside lamps to work, but there were plenty of other lighting options. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was OK, but I would suggest getting a longer shower curtain as it was too short and had the floor covered in water. The included breakfast was great and saved time going into town!

Check in was smooth noisy because right by the highway i never received room service until my last day there. Breakfast was good every morning not a bad place to stay overall

It was clean and calm all around, felt safe and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great. Only had a bit of trouble activating screen share/Bluetooth with the TV to cast my iPhone but it was fine.

This hotel is SOOOOO over priced! It’s an old, dumpy place. They offer breakfast which was fake eggs, gross “ sausage”, and some other junk in a tiny over crowded room. We couldn’t wait to leave!

Worth the price! Clean enough. Close to all the beaches and surf. Close to all the shops that you could ever need or want and if you wanted more there's something wrong with you.

It has been recently painted and looks nice, but little things need updating too; the remotes have broken buttons, the showers are installed opposite temperature. But the part that bothered my kids was the pool needs to be resurfaced, which made it look dirty. I know the water was clean, but I couldn't convince my kids.

The pool/jacuzzi need rennovations. Other than that, overall was ok -customer service, cleanliness & area.

We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor and the elevator was not operational. TV did not work; no connection to antenna or service. Breakfast hours did not work for us (6:30-8:30 am), so no benefit. Beds were good enough to get some sleep, but no frills. Two small pillows per bed with only a think blanket that was aged. A/C did work. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Doors had gaps underneath them, the room smelled like mold and cigarettes, the air conditioning smelled weird and was very loud. The bathroom looked dirty, and the carpet looked dirty. The bed sheets also had stains on them and overall looked unclean. Also the toom itself and the TV was pretty small.
The elevator was broken and had to climb to the third floor, and the pool was not so clean.
Overall, I've stayed in motel rooms bigger and better than this one. Very expensive for the quality provided. Would definitely not stay here again.

It had a very convenient location next to the freeway and the free breakfast in the morning was a delightful plus.
The room was a bit stuffy and smelly, especially in the bathroom. I think it was coming from the shower drain.

The absolute worst experience . Was not sanitary and their staff or receptionist GLENDA was the worst and rudest person I have ever encountered. She was not understanding in fact she was very hostile because they gave me a dirty room . I should be the one upset and instead she gave me attitude and was pissed off . For a family that travels a lot I’ve seen numerous hotels never had an issue with Comfort Inn. Unfortunately, had issues this trip. Was given a discount, but I feel that the staff need to communicate a little bit better.

I didn’t like the room they gave me bc it was a bad smell in there coming from the Ac. Also the bathroom door was broken and it didn’t close properly. And it also had mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and on the wall next to the bathroom door. In fact, I took pictures. I went to the lobby to let the lady know about the bathroom issues but she said that they were sold out and they were going to give me a discount for that inconvenience so we have to stay in the room like that for 2 nights.

People woke me up at 12 in the morning and continued to be noisy for over an hour . I could not call the front desk because their was no phone in the room.

Hotel is rundown. Pool was dirty, only one waffle maker in breakfast room and breakfast room was hot. Only one way in and out parking lot so you have to pass the hotel go over the freeway to make a u turn.
