Great breakfast!

Desk girl was not very helpful because I had a reservation online and she’s very rude about the whole checking thing

Bathroom wasn't very clean, some stray hairs and toe nail clippings that weren't ours. Made us question the rest of the rooms cleanliness.

Nice hotel would definitely recommend! They even paid for taxi to the airport. Very friendly staff and rooms were clean.

Pool and hot tub closed. I always make use of that. Hopefully open next time. All else great as normal

Maids coming to clean from night shift to day shift anywhere from 545-630 slamming things around. One more they were changing locks on doors with a drill at 615 AM

The staff were amazing! The pool wasn’t open which I wish I’d known before booking as I would have booked somewhere I could swim. The area is under construction and there is a homeless shelter across the street. It doesn’t feel safe and there was a lot of traffic. But typically it’s a good hotel!

First night, there was no hot water to have a shower. The bed was old and very uncomfortable.

This hotel is extremely overrated and underwhelming at best. Let’s start with the room. Take two bales of hay and put a bed sheet over it with a comforter. Awful! Room service is invisible unless you request it and even then, they disrespect customers by lying to management that the room had a do not disturb sign on the door, or even better, that I somehow expressed that I did not want my room made up on a daily basis, (which is a staple service item at any normal hotel). Further, with the one room service that was done after I pushed management, they didn’t refresh the water bottle or the mouth wash that was used earlier in the week. Now onto the breakfast spread. The spread was crap and not worth the added-value service. If you don’t care about the quality of breakfast food that you serve your clients, don’t serve it! The pool area had absolutely no atmosphere unlike other pools that I have experienced. No plants or greenery, no towels on lounge chairs as indicated in profile pictures. In fact the towels provided were stained in most cases and not even big enough for use by a child. No frills to say the least. Very disappointed in the poor level of service and amenities at The Pomeroy. I would not recommend this place if it was the only option in GP. Staying in a yurt and going to Major’s for breakfast or experiencing Crooked Creek Donuts would far exceed what I experienced here. What is your hard earned dollars worth? Better than this place could ever hope to provide.

Very good selection at breakfast

The staff are excellent. Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable

CONS:Pool was very cold, shower head covered in calcium, bed was sunken in the middle, breakfast eggs were very very yucky tasting and tater tots were so over deep fried they were almost inedible, no doors are labeled as entrance it was super confusing PROS: super quiet, very clean, very friendly staff, great location for shopping

I like that it had a hot tub, and it was walking distance to the mall.

Overall decent place for an overnight in GP but with no underground parking probably best for summer

Have stayed here many times. The staff are amazing. Their hot breakfast included in the morning really adds to the value of the stay.
