The Wyndham was very convenient to downtown Vasalia. We stayed there when traveling to Sequoia National Park. The room was clean and plenty of room

This hotel was absolutely lovely and the staff was wonderful!

Room was very nice. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
Close to race car track which is why we were there.... extremely convenient. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Coffee in the room was very good.
We'll be back and definitely would recommend to others.

Wouldn't recommend. The whole place needs cleaning! It's not just the room, the halls, the carpets and the washer/dryer area. The washing machine was terrible and I really didn't want to use it. Very disappointed.

Pleasant generic 3 star hotel i chose for hot tub. But was not open after 9pm or before 10am so was of no ise to this traveller. Limited hours should be made explicit so an informed choise can be made.

We spent one night at Wyndham in Visalia, room 128, to be exact. Checked in around 1100pm and checked out at 1130am. Prior to checking out, I saw a bed bug in one of the beds (we had 2 queen beds). I placed a plastic cup over the bed bug for the employees to see. When I exited the room, I advised the cleaning room. At check out, I informed the female at the front lobby regarding the bed bug. She downplayed it by stating it was a beetle bug, which was not. The nerve!!! And like it really mattered! Ugh, dirty. She then went on to say, "Oh, we can't do anything about it."
My favorite Wyndham Hotel was in San Diego, after this experience, never again. Thanks

I lived in Visalia in the past and knew about this hotel. It's conveniently located right off the 198 and 99. Location is probably its best part. My wife and I stayed at the auxiliary building in a room facing the freeway. There were moderate amount of highway noise all night. The building itself is old, but I feel like it's kept at its best possible condition. There are some homeless people in the park and around the vicinity. They all minded their business and didn't bother us (though, I do recommend not going out at night). Overall, not a bad stay. Will still likely book here again when we need to visit the area again.

AC are tricky to work. Outside pool was out of order. Room hallway carpets were dirty. Other than this, the Property could definitively use a glam up but it was cool for what it was. Staff was amazing though!

They have two buildings the first nigh we stay at old building was super hot we didn’t sleep good at all the second night we talk to the front desk after they send us a fan 🙈 and change the AC filter we ask to change the room to the newer building but after struggling trying to sleep so run run

The negatives: AC made the room smell musky and sour. The kids said it smelled bad. Tiny little black bugs on desk and bathroom. Smoke detector defective and kept beeping at 5h30am and then at 6h30 am. Staff (front desk) was inhospitable and unfriendly. Positive side: The beds were confortable and bathroom mirror was very nice. Location next to highway and a park.

Hotel was great! Nice clean room, very comfortable bed and spacious room. Lounge was great to relax and watch a game, plus their calamari was outstanding. All the staff were very nice and informative. Would stay here again when visiting friends.

Room was not very clean. Every time I turned on the shower, the water was brown for a few minutes. TV did not work either. Just a very outdated room. Disappointed in my overall stay.

The bedroom air was set to 60 degrees but never got cool, the maintenance guy told us units are so old with severe heat they can’t keep up. Our room was literally right next to roof so we kept the curtains closed all day to keep cool. The solution being a fan into our room. The room was too hot.

The room was pleasant, but all ice machines were broken except for one on the third floor. We were staying in an Accessible 1st floor, due to my MS. In addition, there was no body wash in the dispenser. When trying to take a shower, since it was an accessible unit, the water spilled out all over the floor and I need to use the majority of towels to soak it up. I checked out a day early.

This is an older building, from a different time and era, but quite lovely, actually, and updated. Meals aren't included but there is a restaurant on premises that is quite nice and with excellent service. We were in the hotel for three nights and surprisingly housekeep provided us service after night #2. I would stay here again.

The air conditioning units in the hotel rooms were not able to cool down the rooms very well. Granted, it was very hot outside. However, I would expect the air conditioning units to be able to bring the temperature down in the room and they couldn’t.

One of our more enjoyable stays when traveling for work. The best sleep in the most comfortable bed every. Great food in the restaurant and very enjoyable lounge. Plenty of parking, we will stay again.

Good hotel. I liked the option of having both the indoor and outdoor pool. I also liked the dining options within the hotel where we didn't have to travel into town to get something to eat. Great stay for venturing into Sequoia National Park the next day.
