This hotel isn’t really the best, a lot of sketchy people in the area. I only booked because of the river view which wasn’t even the best lol. They gave us a room with a huge tree in the middle and blocked the beautiful view. Their “room service” only means delivering food to your room, it doesn’t mean actually providing genuine service such as delivering cups, glasses, towels, etc. We had to get cups for wine, from the restaurant ourselves which looked pretty vague. To top it off the room didn’t even have a microwave. Book accordingly. I paid 750$ for a two day stay and it was absolutely not worth it at all. I would have rather paid the same price or even more at niagara falls for a great view plus good service. Breakfast “buffet” wasn’t the best not too many options and half the stuff was cold lol. you are better to eat out at tim hortons then paying &19.00 per person for nothing.

I liked the location right on the river and within walking distance of trails and downtown. Parts of the facility are a bit dated, but what isn't nowadays? The friendly staff and other features make up for it.

Needs updating in some areas however has notices posted stating you are in renovations and updates. Room was clean and updated. Love the choice of soap, shampoo and lotion brand!

It was close to festival and other fun activities. Felt like home away from home. Plus staff going above and beyond allowing us a little bit extra time in the pool. Thank you 😃😃

This place is like a run down motel. The hallways and common areas stink of old cigarettes and who knows what else. The pool is disgusting—the deck is filthy and foundation is crumbling with construction buckets all over the place collecting garbage. It’s just gross. I felt gross being there. The bed was decent.. that’s about all. This hotel is nothing like the photos. I’m shocked at the decent reviews. I would never recommend this place.

Tiny bathroom

Our room smelt like cigarettes, our bathroom door was rotted and wouldn’t close, and there was a lot of altercations with other people yelling and screaming outside our rooms and outside the building… our breakfast service was terrible, asked many times just for water and still didn’t recieve it and it wasn’t busy.. over all not impressed I paid 200 for this terrible experience

Staff was very friendly. Ended up leaving early due to no hot water. They were very accommodating with this request. I would go back. I would not book with hotels.com as it was more money then booking through hotel

We arrived at the hotel anticipating a relaxing evening and encountered a couple of sketchy "hippies" at the entrance to the property parking lot demanding to know our name. They indicated that they were keeping out the concert goers but a look around made it clear that the hotel was going to full of drunken and disorderly people. We parked and went inside to be told that there was no refund on our room (prepaid). We got in the car and drove home to Ottawa for a good night sleep.

Very nice room. Recommend the waterfront rooms. Balcony was great to enjoy the view and weather.
