The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. upon walking into the hotel the smell was quite strong. ( cleaning solutions) Before opening my hotel room the cleaning solution odor was stronger and somewhat overpowering. It was not a pleasing smell. Bleach would have smelled better. There was no way to get the odor out of the room because the windows didn’t open. The old heating/air conditioning register is loud. I needed the room temperature to be comfortable so I had to listen to a constant hum which made it hard to relax.

Each stay has been so helpful

This is a basic but clean and comfortable hotel. The shuttle service to ORD is efficient and runs 24/7. Not much in walking distance of hotel but it feels safe.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but when something like this happens, you have to let others know. My only complaint was their shuttle service to/from the airport. They said to give them a half hour notice, which we did. Then we waited --for an hour and 50 min for them to finally come pick us up from the airport. I called several times to confirm, etc during this time, and each time they assured me it would be "just 10-15 minutes". We were not the only ones standing there waiting either. There were other guests from the same hotel waiting on the same shuttle service. I would not book here again for this reason.

Our stay was decent and we were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included in our stay despite this not being indicated in the booking. Staff who we encountered were friendly. We barely stayed at the hotel but the times we were there, we didn’t have any concerns. The building though is dated and could use a makeover, but for the price it was worth it. Not necessarily the closest to the city centre if you’re going to take into account the traffic. There are beautiful parks and small towns nearby to check out too!

Rooms were nice and clean and everyone was friendly and professional at check-in. Only complaint were some noisy late check-ins around 2:00 a.m. and that can happen anywhere.

Very dated. Musty smelling. Needs updating. Shuttle driver was very unsafe and drove 63 in a 35 for most of the trip! Tossed us around. Had I had small children I would have called the police

We asked for extra pillows but didn’t get any. We also asked that the AC be turned on prior to our arrival but it didn’t. When we arrived in our room there was a foul smell almost like a Vicks vapour rub ointment or something which took a few hours to air out with the ac

I never leave reviews, but I feel the public should know what to expect if they stay here. My room was very dusty and carpet was not vacuumed (there were food crumbs all over the carpet). I had to buy my own dusters and a dust buster vacuum to clean my room properly myself as I have dust allergies which were extremely bothersome before I cleaned the room myself. The duster I used was black after I dusted. The pillows on my bed smelled of perspiration. Asked for freshly cleaned pillowcases that I replaced and was much better. Highly doubt the pillowcases were changed after previous guest. I used a tad bit more toilet paper in the toilet which caused a clog and when I tried to call the front desk to ask for a plunger, the phone in the room did not work. Went to the front desk and personally asked for a plunger and they said that they couldn’t provide one because their maintenance man had them all and he was off duty at the time. I also severely scraped my thigh on a sharp corner of the night table while walking to the bathroom late at night. I highly suggest corner guards on their nightstands. I shudder to think what would happen if there were a small child in my room and injured their head on the sharp corners. The hallway smelled very musty, dingy and dirty as well. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Would not recommend if you expect a clean place to stay without having to properly clean it yourself.

Well i couldnt stay there cause i was towing a uhaul trailer so yall are supposed to call and get my refund tried calling yall and got the run around about not bieng able to get a hold of them if this is how its gonna be i will not book through expedia any longer i had ro find another hotel and pay them as well

The service was good. Only the bathroom tub is dirty, they didn't clean it.

Outdated, dirty, room smelled and felt musty. My daughter woke up with bites on her. Would never stay here again

Rooms smelled like mold and the sheets and bedding smelled like cologne.

The big bugs outside and parking

The mattresses were old and indented and very uncomfortable. The building and entrance stunk like mold. Def need a strong cleaning and incense. The breakfast was awful, fake eggs, cheapest meal options through out. The worst coffee. Will not return

The team up front was professionally patience and respectful.

Management is very very bad. I stay there last month and they received $102 deposits and they didn’t return after 20 days I claimed than they give me return but in this month never stay there and they charge $102 again..

The shuttle driver was a nervous person. Honked the horn constantly and made us nervous as well

Bed sheets were still dirty, toilet paper ran out. Smelled like old apartments

Parking lot was jammed with vehicles, too few disabled spots for hotel. Back entrance blocked off with a trash can. Smelled old, stale in hotel room areas. Breakfast was filled with people and they struggled to keep coffee, etc. for everyone. You couldn't open the single creamers for coffee! Our TV was only playing one channel. Noisy through the late nite, doors slamming. Won't return to this hotel.

I liked that they shuttle service and breakfast. It wasn’t as nice as the photos and when I arrived at night it really smelled like cigarettes in the hotel.

Close to airport

Convenient to get on interstate. Did not hear a lot of plane noise or noise from other guests which was really nice.
