Good breakfast, clean, nice bed.
We were on the first floor near the ice maker, so it was a bit noisy. Good stay for the price.

We got in late after a very long day on road. The place was in process of being remodeled but was clean despite construction dust.

Online it looked nice before booking. Unfortunately when we srrived there were numerous painters, etc. repainting the exterior. There was no mrntion of this on the website. The room were given looked like it was about 50% finished of a remodel. Fresh paint, no floor boards. Couch looked like it was from the 70's. The bathroom was ok but the tub had drywall dust all over the tub edges and the shower nozzle and head all were pulling in and out of wall as yiu tried to use. We did not bother with breakfast. The whole hotel just smelled musty.

Was a bit of a mess from construction. Our room was nice and clean, fresh paint and new flooring. But...it still smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Staff was super nice and friendly and the beds were super comfortable. It's a decent budget hotel if you need a place to sleep. Nice pool noted but we didn't use it.

The entire hotel was under construction- there was dust, debris and paint everywhere. We should have been notified prior to our arrival.
The room was ok, the plumbing was terrible. The first two days of our stay the tub backed up with water every time we used it and then the last day the toilet would barely flush.
Overall not impressed with this stay at all. I feel the rating on hotels.com is completely inaccurate!

The staff was eager to help. I work as an Architect for a large construction company and this place is obviously not a Wingate owned property and under remodel, either by the owner or non-licensed professionals, and should meet requirements per the new 2024 IBC Code etc., even if minor improvements are done, they should wait to book a room that is still outgassing toxic fumes. We didn't complain at the time because we were despite due to other hotels being full and it being late. I don't really blame the staff but I do feel this should have been either part of the descriptive information within Expedia. Looking at other issues in the hotel, lead me to believe this hotel was privately held property. Parking was okay, not all spots taken but it was tight for a full size pickup.

We chose this hotel for its price and rating. The front desk was great. Our room was suffice with a comfortable bed, nice TV and linoleum floors which I love for cleanliness.
When we arrived there was a crowd of people hanging outside the main entrance who were loud, smoking and had children. One who scared the heck out of us pulling in as they started running out right in front of us. Some were also running around in the hotel. They were there for hours. When we woke at 5:30 the entrance was littered with garbage.
That in itself left a bad impression. But again the two working the front desk were wonderful!

Great value. Clean, quiet, very pleasant staff. Undergoing renovation but our room was well appointed, comfortable bed, nice shower, thoughtful amenities. Fast internet. Organized check-in and check out. Didn't sample breakfast but did enjoy fresh coffee and a nice piece of fresh fruit. Well situated in South Sioux area near shopping and restaurants.

The hotel hallways were really dirty. We were told the baseboard had been taken off for renovations, but expected to find clean hallways. Instead drywall dust was all along both sides of the hallway, so obviously the floors had not been swept. There was a bag of trash outside one of the rooms when we arrived and was still there when we left the next day.
The new flooring in the room was nice and the room and towels appeared clean.

This hotel was comfortable. It is the type to have the sink outside of the bathroom allowing more access to it when the actual bathroom facility is not available, i.e., much more convenient! good staff and good food!

The beds were very comfortable. They were doing renovations on the property but the wallpaper in the bathroom was ripped and cut and there was grout along the floor. Just made it look bad. The email I got about the renovation said they were replacing carpet with vinyl flooring in the room. Nothing about the bathroom. One of the front desk people couldn’t understand what I needed when I asked for wash cloths. Breakfast was very minimal - no fruit so we just bought our own. Probably won’t stay here again - especially at a little over 100 per night.

Staff there far out ways any negatives that I could find there is a lot of construction going on, and that is the only downside to the stay there was there was some noise and banging, and a few of the handicap rooms were not completed in full with some needed ruction still being done on my room so I had to move out but all overall excellent

Construction work began between 8:30-9:00 on both sides of our room. The workers knocked on our door and wanted to come in to change the ceiling light fixtures. Since there were never more than ten cars in the parking lot, we assume that we could have been placed in a room that was not in the construction zone.
We noticed a fingernail in the dust behind the nightstand, and the white curtains looked quite dingy. Moreover, the bed skirt was torn and shredded.
Upon checkout, we were surprised to find that the hotel tried to charge us $75 more than what we had been quoted. They claimed that it was a fee for bringing dogs, even though no such fee was ever mentioned during the reservation or check-in process.

Booked this for my folks and the staff was so nice to call and confirm and ask if they needed a mobility assisted room. My dad said they helped him make waffles and the staff carried his breakfast to his table for him as he walks with a walker that was a big help to him and both he and my mother were very appreciative of the staff, hot breakfast and comfortable and clean room.

What I really appreciated is that the hotel manager called me the day before our arrival. Basically asking if there was anything they could do for us to make our stay enjoyable. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had that happen. Now that’s excellent customer service. Hotel was great, everything we needed for our short stay overnight.
