Property owner charged credit card on the morning of our arrival and we had chosen to pay at property, felt they were a little zealous in collecting fees for our rooms early.

I was charged a $100 deposit for an already damaged room. The refrigerator was not cold and the wife didnnot work so i had to use my phones mobile hotspot to watch TV. There were red stains on tye carpet, the caulk around the tub was cracked and tye wall next to the tub was in need of repaur and not just have drywall mud put on it to patch it. The heater in the room smelled like urine when we turned it on. The pool was not heated and was so cold tye kids were freezing when trying to swim. one child threw up and my husband cleaned it and we wondered if it didnt have to do with the pool being so cold. I told the front desk lady that there were 5 boys ages 11-12 years and under swimming with no parents, the youngest was 5 or 6, she did nothing, never came to the pool. There were people loitering outside the doors in large groups. There was a cracked poece of tile that we put a towel over so the kids wouldnt cut their feet. The elevator was filthy, and the wet floor sign was in it the whole time we were there.

Cheap and convenient will stay again in the future

Very basic amenities. No proper seating in the room to relax. Needs updated.

No carpet in rooms which is ok but floors were sticky. Night stand and table had something dried on. Person at desk seemed like they didn’t really want to be bothered. Will not be staying at that one again.

The most noticeable thing about this property is the lack of carpeting. That is a very good thing, particularly in the rooms because it is much easier to keep them fresh and sanitary that way. This property features a small indoor pool that opens early and stays open late and appears to be very well maintained. Finally, the breakfast offered is a cut above hotels in its price class with nice egg/sausage/potatoes under a warmer but also biscuits and gravy. Then there is also the Belgian waffle maker. Several nearby sit-down dining style restaurants within walking distance add to the convenience of the hotel, and it is still very close to area attractions such as the St. Clair Mall and Antiques.

I booked this property online and mistakenly chose the wrong date. When I went in to correct the date; I was told the property was booked/sold out. So I had to book another hotel. They had the nerve to still charge me for a nights stay. After I called and spoke to the manager, he told me they were still going to charge my card even after I explained what happened. Pitiful!

Room was fine. Carpet needs to be cleaned in certain areas but overall decent. Looks like an old hotel that needs some updating. Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok. Area was quiet.

Very run down. Beds were clean, bathroom needs new fixtures. Staff was polite but not overly friendly.

Close to St. Louis. Easy highway access. Clean and affordable.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating so that’s the main positive outcome from the hotel. The rooms smell like mildew and cigarette smoke and are in need of a deep clean and renovation. I would have switched hotels if I wasn’t so passive and shy. The breakfast was your typical free breakfast, no complaints there. When we come back in September for a wedding we are definitely staying elsewhere.

The property is located in a business area with a mall area and tons of other hotels. Just over the freeway is an entirely different story. We went to grab a quick bite at White Castle and that area is sketchy.

Excellent Breakfast!

The hotel room and bathroom were very clean. Seemed like it may have been recently updated. The refrigerator didn't work very well. The indoor pool was pretty cold. The area had lots of places to eat. It was near the highway so that made it easy to get back on the road.

Not happy with property

In town for weekend of Cardinals games. I don’t know what rooms these negative reviews have had, but our room was wonderful. It was clean, beds were comfy, shower had decent pressure, tv and air conditioner both worked. Breakfast area could use another table and chairs, but that’s just being picky. Breakfast was standard - waffles, bagels, cereal, some hot foods like eggs and sausage. People at the desk were friendly. The reviews griping about the $100 deposit need to read all the way to the bottom of the page on hotels.com because it is listed in extra fees. They do not do housekeeping if you stay 2 nights unless you ask, but that is also posted at check in. I got extra towels the 2nd day with no problems. We will stay here again! Also easy to get to public transport to get to Busch stadium.

Maintenance of facility is slipping. I have stayed in many country inns, this one is not up to par. Air conditioning thermostat was uncontrollable. Change of one degree caused significant swings from cold to hot. Bathtub chipped and rusted discolored and missing seal around tub. Bathroom door would not open all the way because bowed shower rod installed improperly over walkway. Cleaning staff works because room was clean.

Bed are hard.. room was clean but the bathroom and shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months ! Breakfast was good and staff was really friendly and helpful. Booked room ahead of time and paid ahead of time. Got there and they wanted another 100$ for deposit. They should state that when u reserve soon and pay ahead of time cause what would have happened if I didn’t have the 100$ to cover the deposit? Would I have been asked to leave even though I already paid for my room?

Do not like having to put down a $100 deposit, which won’t be credited back for who knows how long. Receptionist said 2-3 days(she thinks). Not her fault, just company policy. Terrible policy!!!

The check-in process was beyond challenging. However, our overall stay was fair. The interior of the hotel would benefit from an update and professional cleaning and remodeling.

Asked for help with getting a missing piece of coffee maker in room and was told to wait until breakfast started. Proceeded to beeakfast to find cold eggs, meat and potatoes due to the heating element not working. Found 11 day old expired milk and ants in the breakfast area. Overall terrible experience and wouldn't recommend.
