When we first walked in, the room itself look nice, the bed was comfy, We had a good view of the ocean, It was very, very humid within the room, but that is to be expected right next to the beach. The cons were the phone in the room did not work. The bathroom vent did not work, the floor of the shower was dirty. my wife was not able to take a shower until we called from our personal phones, The hotel to have them come up and clean the shower, which they didn’t. They just picked up the towels and replaced them when you towels. The resort itself did not offer any type of breakfast, even one to pay for. The hotel did have Its own restaurant which we Did not go to, the cell service was really horrible.

Pool was not heated , swim up bar not open when hotel not busy or on weekdays , food at restaurant was mediocre at best , rooms are super small for a normal hotel not alone a resort style hotel , would not recommend this hotel

First time at this resort with my family. Definitely will be back again. The kids enjoyed the pool. Wish they offered a complimentary breakfast for the amount we paid for one night though. Overall it was an excellent experience for our family.

The resort was beautiful. Our condo was ckean and very spacious. The only complain that we had was that on our last day there was construction in the room next door at 8 am in the morning. It would have been nice to be made aware of the construction beforehand. We were awakened by loud banging.

Pros: Clean, nicely decorated, great pool area for kids, socializing, on-site restaurant pretty good, nearby eateries and shopping, entertainment. Cons: The hostess at the Landshark was awful and rude. She ignored us and when I finally asked if we could just grab a table she was pretty ugly. Parking. I booked through a 3rd party and didn't realize they charged for parking valet $25, self parking $15. It wasn't a big deal but the parking was kinda far from the entrance and not gated or secure. Didn't feel like a good value. I got sick! My husband and I split plates throughout the day. The only thing different was we got different drinks at the pool bar. I had one of the worst stomach bugs I've had in awhile.

Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful, nice pool. Only thing i didn't like is having to pay $15 for self parking there. Paying for parking when you're paying to stay there just doesn't sit well with me when they already are charging you a daily resort fee.

Ther were thing that baffeled me about picking this place one checking in early i called far in advance then days and never got a response they say i could pay 75 dollars extra if i wanted it earlier but no time frame...then i couldnt get ahold of anyone until i arrived then couldn't check in until a few min till. The front desk lady was on her phone sending pictures to someone and didnt notice i was waiting and scared her then proceeded to talk to a friend that walked in then asked how i might think how she knew her.Then cleanliness they said it taking long to clean... umm no? First they had just painted so the smell was really strong then the restroom floor look like someone had mud before and you know how i know they didnt clean because the mirror had writing about either the cleaner or previous people... and the cherry on top the door latch didnt close unless i pryed the door latch open and forced it to close; i had called maintenance he came closed it a few times then it got stuck and noticed it would close his response oh yeah its broken. Then never came back. I mean with the price you pay for this condo alot was kind of brushed under the rug.

We really enjoyed our stay. The service was great and loved the atmosphere. We would appreciate some vegan options for food.

IT was our first time there and the location was perfect for what we wanted. We also visited Spacex. And could see it from our 7th floor balcony.

Overall our stay was good. The one minor issue was that there was no towels in our room when we arrived.

Self parking is $15 a night, valet is $24, these are not included in price. Room AC units constantly run and are very loud. Passage way to beach can use some cleaning up. Pool was clean not overly crowded. Overall was a fair experience.

We stayed here for our wedding/honeymoon and it was everything we look during a getaway. Beach access, beautiful views, amazing pool, relaxing vibes, live music and good food/drinks. We will definitely be back!

Margaritaville South PadreOverall, my stay at Margaritaville South Padre was just okay. I expected it to be overpriced due to the holiday weekend, but the experience left a lot to be desired for a first-time visit. The hotel was very strict in the pool area—you couldn't bring your own drinks or coolers, which was a bit disappointing. Even more frustrating was that they closed everything, including the taco truck and bar, by 9 PM. For a Labor Day weekend, I expected more.The bed in our room was extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. I was eager to leave as I didn't sleep well at all. Additionally, the restaurant, LandShark Bar & Grill, was just okay. When I wanted to take leftovers back to the room, I found it odd that there were no microwaves available to warm up food. I expected more amenities from a hotel that is rated so highly.To make matters worse, there were two emergency evacuations during our stay, supposedly due to a fire, which later turned out to be a false alarm caused by a wedding party. The constant back-and-forth on the intercom was very annoying and disruptive.On the positive side, the fresh towels by the beach were a nice touch, but I was surprised that parking wasn't included in the stay. Being charged $15 per day for self-parking and $25 per day for valet is absurd.Overall, I'd give this hotel a 2-star rating at best. While there were some conveniences, the overall experience did not meet my expectations, especially for a high-rated

It was okay. It was not as clean as expected it to be since it is pricey. I didnt like that the tv was not a smart tv that you can connect to netflix or hulu. They did not have a microwave in the hotel room. I also think they dont check their coffee makers because i was about to make coffee and i opened the lid to add water and there was what appeared to be mold. I did like the ease of access to the beach and the mixed drinks. Over all it was okay somethings could have been better. Next time i might be staying trying other hotels in the area

Everything was very clean and staff is very friendly!! Easy access to the beach! Loved our stay!

We called front desk to report our room TV wasn't working and we were told they were going to send someone to check it out. We left to grab some dinner and 2 hours later we get back to the room and nothing was fixed, I made my way to front desk and asked him if he had send someone and he said someone was notified then looks at me and says “well we have other technical issues and our TV can wait.”

Every thing was wonderful and has a Super friendly and helpful staff.. The balcony was small but still has a good view of the ocean and area. Beds are comfortable and the rain shower head is relaxing. The pool is very spacious and has a swim up bar. and the Land Shark restaurants has a super friendly staff with great drink and food options. Everyone was helpful and great attitudes, but how can they not, they work in paradise. I would be happy to stay at Margaritaville again, in fact can’t wait!

Our stay was good, hotel is nice and staff is friendly. The ONLY complain is PARKING OMG... the parking is shared with the condos next to it and IT IS SHT TONS OF THEM so... and it is also shared with public beach access, spots are narrow and it is hard to find parking. Def should invest in PRIVATE parking lot just for guest.

The location of property was great, staff was friendly, and they accepted our fur babies.
