The shower was a mess; couldn’t keep water in the shower stall no matter what we tried so ended up using lots of towels to mop it up.
Listed as having “laundry facilities “, but offers only laundry services for a charge. No laundry area where we could do our own laundry. Very very expensive for us. This was one of the deciding factors to book at the Maritime.

Hotel is really well placed next to the train station and the bus stop for the airport. The swimming pool was cool but really nice. Rooms were big, beds comfortable. Could have done with some coffee making stuff and a chair for the balcony. Staff were good as was the breakfast. Would stay there again.

The property is nice and clean. The staffs are bit unaccommodating. They are not really there for service. The entrance is hard to find and have. This might be due to construction work but nonetheless it seems very hard to go to front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy.

This is a nice hotel in a nice part of town. Transportation is easy because it's within walking distance of the train station and all the food options there. Highly recommended.

Comfortable room, friendly and helpful English speaking staff. No proper vegetarian hot food for breakfast, even custom made egg was cooked together with meat.

Stayed 5 nights for rest after partners surgery. Good choice at breakfast, couldn't use swimming pool which looked very inviting and hope to return again to use leisure facilities.

Clean rooms, the beds were not the most comfortable. As a family room it was a fold down bed and a sofa bed, it was ok but not the same as a proper bed.
Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed a swim.

While using a lot of water during shower, water did not drain well. Hope they can check more carefully.

We loved our very comfortable, spacious, well-appointed room with carpet, storage, proper coat hangers, door onto balcony and the green option to opt out of room service. Breakfast selection was excellent but bacon, nuts and multivitamin juice were missing.
We were disappointed that the room in a hotel of this standard did not have a kettle and courtesy tray, although a kettle was provided on request.

Convenient location just next to the central station of Darmstadt. The hotel tries to keep their activities as sustainable as possible. The staff is very friendly.

Air conditioning did not work and 37C outside. Room extremely hot.
Staff tried to help, but hotel is old and tired and AC could not be fixed.
Breakfast not the same standard as previous stays.

It was nice to stay at the hotel and friendly experienced workers at the front desk although young people should learn from the experienced ones. The location is also good near main station (Darmstadt Hbf)

Very pleasantly surprised right from the friendly and warm welcome until the friendly checkout. The environment of this beautifully renovated place was worthy of a 5 star place. Rarely have we experienced champagne!! included in this lavish breakfast buffet.
I can highly recommend this hotel to any traveller, whether it is for business or leisure.

Really great hotel. From the outside, it does not look that exciting but looks are deceptive! This is a nice hotel inside. The rooms are spacious and clean.
