The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The location was convenient as only a several blocks from train station or metro. The bus was within a block.

We stayed in a 3-twin beds room with 3 adults. There was plenty of room for us and our belongings. The balcony with a view of the lake and downtown was very enjoyable. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful.

our stay was excellent, the service was excellent (especially Sara at the recepicion , a very friendly and polite Portuguese woman)
What can I say about the hotel, it's simply great, I stayed in a family room, we were with 4 people, very comfortable, great view, breakfast with a lot of variety, quality and tasty products, in Lousanne everything is very close so very good and easy public transport is very easy and very clean,
the hotel is close to the train station which is very good,
the hotel gave me a pass to travel for free on public transport, trem are buses,
The hotel restaurant is very good, both , inside the hotel and in a very pleasant outdoor area, very tasty food, they have incredible foie gras
my stay at the hotel was amazing

Reception and service was fantastic, really friendly and proffesional staff, beautiful room, clean and quiet, additionally the access to private garage was great.
However i found the breakfast overpriced for what was sub standard bread, produce and presentation.

No air condition after 11pm makes the night sleep uncomfortable. Hotel shutdown air condition system as it is noisy for the neighborhood!! Tiny shower space.

This hotel AC was broken. The room was quite warmer and we were not having a good sleeping

we had an issue, there was apparently AC issues a few days before we got there, but tit was a few days, and we weren't notified it would be an issue, and it was really not comfortable because it was too hot in the room, they're offer was free water which isn't really a great remedy especially since water was free in many places.

The receptionists were so helpful when our baggage was delayed. They directed a phone call from the airline to us and provided us with sundry items for our overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent!

Great location, less than 10min walk from the train station. Staff were very friendly. Great buffet breakfast with hard boiled eggs, breads, meats and cheeses, cereals, espresso. Walking distance down to the lake or up to the castle area. Transit card included which I didn't not use.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Lausanne's train station so very comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. Facilities and room in great condition and breakfast was lovely.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Mirabeau. It is in a great location. The hotel was clean and well maintained for its age. The staff were incredibly helpful. I would stay here again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable. Great old building with high ceilings. Great breakfast spread. Particular shout out to the front office person who checked me in and whom I saw in the evenings during my stay. He helped me understand very quickly the subway/tram system and also helped me obtain very quickly and efficiently a dinner reservation at a well regarded Fondue restaurant. Location is ideal for getting to all parts of the town (Ouchy included using the tram).

This hotel is fabulous, clean, comfortable, the staff there are very nice! The breakfast is excellent, decent, quality. What a pity that we had to skip our breakfast on our last day because of the itinerary, the staff can also give us the take-away breakfast, simple but great~! Thanks much again! 😊😊

The hotel and rooms are now very old fashioned. No overhead shower that works properly, and at the hotel front entrance you have to drag your suitcase up four steps. What is EXCELLENT about this hotel is the restaurant: very good food, spotless, excellent service.

Great hotel in Lausanne and very close to transport. The restaurant is excellent. Remember to put the do not disturb sign on your door, especially if you are having a nap.

We chose this hotel because it's a few blocks from the train station and seemed to be very nice--and it is both of those things. The problem is that it's awfully pricey for what it offers. I had been under the impression that the hotel had a lake view, which it does not (though it's at the top of the hill). It's perfectly nice, but it was probably the most expensive of the hotels we stayed at and neither better nor worse in terms of room quality, cleanliness, etc. Unlike other European hotels we stayed at, it doesn't include breakfast in the price -- and its in-house restaurant is also quite pricey for rather small portions.

The Hotel Mirabeau was perfect. I was traveling solo for a conference and stayed at the Mirabeau for six days. They were able to change me to a small balcony room which was no small feat during the busy July season. Staff were wonderful, the hotel was lovely on all fronts, and the breakfast was quite expansive. I already miss the strong coffee and Gruyere cheese every morning. This hotel is in stellar shape considering it's age. Thank you for a wonderful stay Mirabeau!
