My husband and I were pleased with the nice accommodation and friendly staff.

This place was okay. The breakfast was disappointing. The breakfast site was very small and the options sucked. Also the hotel seems to be divided into three buildings: the lobby and the two buildings where the guests stay. The rooms where very nice, clean and modern.

Staff was excellent and very kind. Breakfast was amazing and they didn’t mind me filling up my plate. Only issue was bathroom door wouldn’t fully shut and it took forever for the hot water to get hot in the shower. Almost thought there was no hot water. Just had to wait for it.

It was great until the power outage. Thankfully we had already eaten dinner

Didn’t feel real safe but made the best of it. Didn’t like having to give them my credit card when the room was already paid for. Place seemed a little seedy but employees were nice in person and on phone.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. I’d stay again.

Clean and easy room

Do not stay here. There are much better places than this location. Our room felt super dirty. Stains all over the rugs, the balcony area was super dirty, our sliding door also dirty. I lost my room key 2 days in and they were refusing to make me another key cause they were down to 4 for the entire hotel and they offered to walk me to my room to get in. I was super upset and eventually they gave me another key. They also leave the doors to our hotel building open all night. We got home once at midnight and it was wide open. The cups for coffee in the room are for a completely different hotel. Just overall not a great stay for us and we paid over $170 a night…

I liked the lady at the front desk. She was very nice, polite and was able to get us in our room a little early since I had my elderly mom. Also, I felt comfortable to leave my mom there while taking a drive to the pier. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Upon check in we were not told about any of the amenities like pool or free breakfast. Room was dirty, shower head falling, balcony had ashes, dirt and cigarette buds and beds were extremely uncomfortable.

After getting our room we looked for hand towels,wash cloths, bath towels but none were found. The front desk had none to give us. After an hour they notified us towels were available. The trap for the shower/tub was broken. A breakfast was provided but only some items were replenished after only 1 1/2 hours into a 3 hour breakfast period. Nothing was said those people who took”extra food” in covered plates which included those items not replenished. Such as, boxed single serving cereals, yogurts, muffins, bagels and cream cheese, cartons of milk , eggs and sausage. No beverages aside from coffee were provided in the breakfast area. The juice machine had a sign on saying it was broke. In our room, a dirty wash cloth was left of the dresser, empty plastic water bottle was left on the floor in plain view as well two wadded up were found behind the trash container by the dresser.

Room was good for the price. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is delicious! Exterior could use a little help.

Rooms were nice. Breakfast OK. The Negative: 1) room did not have pool view, and they told me none of their rooms do BUT people were on their balcony watching us swim!!! 2) Checkout time is 11:00. We went to beach, came back at 10:00 and had NOT checked out of our room. Housekeeping had already gone in and started cleaning !!! I feel I was lied to about room choices and they should not come into my room until I have checked out!

The hotel rooms appeared to be newly remodeled, they were very clean and well equipped with all your standards amenities. The room had a fridge, coffee machine and microwave. The bedding was comfortable and the mattress was probably one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel bed, wouldn’t mind having that mattress at home, so comfortable. The pillows on the other hand were not the greatest, if management reads this, better pillows. Breakfast was offered, I’ve stayed at other Holiday Inn Express before and felt more options were available at other properties. The breakfast was convenient to have at the hotel. The pool area needs some upgrading, the pool furniture was outdated and broken, the pool deck area was dirty and had leaves all around and piled up in a corner. Towels were available for guest, that’s a plus. The hot tub needs to be redone , the plaster was coming off, we ended up with some scapes and abrasions because of the roughness of the hot tub. All in all 4 out of 5. Would stay here again.

Good stay overall, had to switch the room as the restroom door does not lock, but staff were friendly and promptly changed the room.

Located in a quiet place closer to Pismo Beach.

I waited at the front desk for over 25 minutes for. The staff to return to check in. Once he arrived the check in was prompt but no one there at the desk did not make a good impression.

No gym. Bad breakfast.

Continental breakfast was good. The property was nice. The only bad thing I have to say is the hot tub. The Jets weren’t working very well, but besides that everything else was good.

It was a little price for just a destination,but it was okay
