We had a quick check in and when my husband saw a small wasps nest starting on the balcony it was immediately removed.

This is what I have found when staying at BW's the USB ports are poor, make sure you bring your own plugs to use the wall outlets to charge your phone/watches. Having 2 laptops, 2 iPhones 2 apple watches, you need adapters that work. I always have the adapters but some of the outlets were loose and plugs would fall out of the sockets, some sockets didn't even work at all. Found the bathroom had the best outlets.

Clean comfortable room, well equipped, maybe over priced but location was walkable to Tarantula Hill Brewery, where I was meeting a friend.

Work at tarantula hill down the street but at the new San Diego location. Been staying here when I come up visiting always enjoy the stay here.

Cigarette smell in room was horrible. When I told the front desk they did nothing and said they would not refund the room if we left or stayed.

Great find. Convenient location. Nice older hotel that is clean and quiet with everything you need. The breakfast was always good and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The hotel was beyond beautiful and clean! The room was very clean and smelled soooo good! The AC filter was so white and clean I was amazed and slept like a baby every night, the breakfast was delicious and amazing for it to be FREE, I look forward to coming back.

The staff is wonderful and the place is quiet. The breakfast was mediocre at best, and the place is in serious need of a remodel. It looks like a lonely inn from the 1960s. The only saving grace is that it is right down the street from the mall and close to the highway. Definitely not worth what they're charging! Glad we only stayed one night. We will not be back.

Lipstick on a pig. The room was musty with dated everything. This place urgently needs to be either seriously updated or just replaced.
We planned to stay 4 nights, but my wife refused and we went to a holiday inn express and that was MUCH nicer, and at the same price.
Breakfast was OK but nothing to write home about.
The front desk had a competing kiosk that had some overseas person waiting to 'help' but that was frustrating and could not read my ID etc.
Place reeked of marijuana....
Save yourself the grief and go somewhere else.

Quiet comfortable hotel at good value in Thousand Oaks.

The hotel is close to local outdoor attractions. We slept comfortably and we're pleasantly surprised at the numerous plugs for electronic devices as well as USB outlets. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure and hot water. We were delighted with the attention to detail with the shelving, racks, safety bar, and vanity space. Also, thank you for providing a soap dish! We enjoyed the included breakfast.

Staff was very nice and assistive.
The only thing we've noticed is that there is a weird smell at the reception area and rest of front building housing the function hall.
Also, the quite a number of chairs in the pool area need to be changed since they've been under the sun and weather for too long.
The parking in area in the back needs to be attended to.
Despite some issues, the rooms were very neat and clean, hats off to the staff who clean them.

Really Great overnight stay…but Breakfast was horrible. Paper plates and cups, plastic forks, milk and orange juice cartons (the kind we put in our kid’s lunchboxes) were understandable during COVID, however, let’s do better. I couldn’t tell the mini-pancakes from the strange looking round egg “patties”. Coffee in the room was better than the coffee in restaurant. Not mention, in the room, you’re provided an actual coffee cup. So, bring your cup with you for breakfast. Yes, the breakfast was advertised as “free” so, some might say…I received what I’m perceived to not have paid for.

It had a great breakfast, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. Very close to Malibu and Santa Monica which are places I wanted to go for so long. Highly recommend

We had two large double rooms that were interleading. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast is included and was pretty good. It's easy to find, and was very conveniently located near a large mall.

The room was clean. It was great for a standard room. The bathroom door was swelled so I had to use two hands and a string jerk to pull it open. The bed was worn in the middle so there was a slant… but I was tired so I got over it…
I didn’t use it but the pool could use a little up keep and a bigger area around it. Other than that it served its purpose.
Would I stay there again? Definitely. I did trip
On the stairs where the runner meets the top step going up. lol. That may just be me.its near EVERYTHING!
