A great hotel. Not fancy but clean and big rooms for the price. There are a few cosmetic issues that need to be taken care of eventually...like discoloration on the ceiling from an old leak....but that didn't affect my stay or my comfort. Will stay again

We were pleasantly surprised at the large clean room and just how nice everything looked, We especially loved the huge dual head shower stall in the room!

It’s hard to find an affordable yet well put together hotel in LaCrosse these days. I thought we got both with the stay suites. Clean, good location, nice rooms, etc. Will stay here again if the price stays reasonable.

First room was never cleaned so went down to get another one. Second room, same issue, dirty. Third room was clean and bed was comfortable but bathroom sink drained slow.

- Hidden Dog Fee of $25. Not a huge deal to me financially, but "Dog Friendly" should include specifying the precise 'additional charge' (imo definitely sleazy & borderline fraud). - Breakfast is DIY waffles: better than nothing but sub-par compared to similar.

Was pleasantly surprised with the spacious room and amenities. Location was a bit hard for us to locate, but it was nestled away close to shopping and eating establishments that were in walking distance. Very nice and quiet. Great value with a great price!

Location is a change out from a Days Inn I believe. They seemed to lack in help. When we arrived the outside garbage can was over flowing with garbage on the ground. The cleanliness was sub par. The complimentary breakfast was very limited with just pastries, toast, juice machine and waffle as an option. Beds were comfortable and the room for the most part was clean. I did like the location being next to some wonderful hiking trails and not far from downtown La Crosse.

We ended up staying a second night because we were comfortable there & not feeling well. Great room for the price. Could use some upgrades but for the most part it was very nice with friendly staff. Comfy bed w/good pillows.

Room had a very distinct (not-nice) smell when you opened the door. After being there a while, we seemed not to notice, but every time we came in/out we could smell it. Also, the sheets on my bed had stains on them; I believe they were clean, just a stain. I asked for them to be changed out, was told they would be, but they did not.

Checked in after 8pm, and I had 2 rooms. First had the noisiest AC possible, and it was already on, so the crew that cleaned the room must have heard it but did nothing. The nonstop running fridge (we didnt even use it) was very loud as well. Molding coming off the walls in several spots, along with MOLD on the ceiling in the bathroom and sticky floors highlighted the general dirtiness. Even simple things like dirty tape on the remote control to hold batteries in just showed a poor quality to the rooms. Second room was missing the remote, the do not disturb sign, and had food in stained couch, along with chips and other dirt behind it. One of the comforters had a weird stain on it. Thin walls were not enough to keep sounds of neighbors amorous activities from waking us up in the middle of the night. All of this for a premium surge price due to homecoming weekend.

First room had a nasty smell, so we were moved to another. Nothing wrong with the second room. It was just average. Outside was getting work so lots of dirt and rocks all around.

Rude staff, very poor breakfast, didn’t even stay…noisy above and to the side.

3 stains on 3 pillows. The bed looked like it had been remade and not clean. The shower drain was clogged most of the time with standing water. Stains on the ceiling. There was someone’s clothing hanging next to the shower. Stains on the couch and a tissue that was stuffed in the peep hole. The guy that checked me in was really nice and had great customer service. If I wasn’t as tired as I was, I would have requested a different room. I was there until 530am and left.

Property was quiet. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Shower was dirty.

Tricky to find. Stale smoke odors. Dead bugs on the floor and trash under the bed. Breakfast was ok because of the waffle makers. Ok for the price I guess but needs a little work.

Minimal breakfast options. Everything else was good. The owners do care about the cleanliness and property.

Huuuuge room and big bathroom. Nice staff. Limited parking because they are painting the exterior of the building, but it was okay. Quiet. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the highway. The only suggestion I have would be to improve on Breakfast. The bread was flavorless, coffee ran out, hot water for tea was cold, only 1 flavor of yogurt. We would stay here again though.

While the staff were kind, whoever is charged with maintaining this property have some work to do. The A/C in my room was leaking which turned the carpet into a wet sponge. There is also an unpleasant smell at the hotel, it seemed to me related to plumbing as it was strongest in the bathroom. Also, they say free breakfast but the options are very limited so I would plan to eat elsewhere.

The room was very spacious and breakfast was way more than all other hotels on our Roadtrip offered.

I reserved online and when I got to the hotel it took over 20 minutes to get my keys. I finally got my keys, took the stairs (which were filthy) and walked to my room. Every room was open with linens laying in piles on the floor and on the beds. My room was equally dirty. I looked at the floor and it had t been vacuumed. I immediately walked down stairs, dropped off my keys and said I would not be staying there. I went to the Holiday Inn and got a room.

Clean, Convenient and affordable

The staff was nice at check in, the room was huge, if a bit old. A couple points off for being difficult to find (it's hidden behind a Texas Roadhouse with no signage, and GPS tells you you're there in the middle of the highway) and poor selection for breakfast. The morning I was there, all they basically had was make your own waffles and cold cereal. The waffles were great, but not much to start your day on.

The loveseat in our room had numerous large stains; hydrangea plants outside the hotel had been chopped off with flowers scattered across the ground and breakfast was minimal.

Overall it was a poor experience. The hotel was dirty. They seemed to be understaffed. When we asked for help with the clogged toilet. Which we barely used (we were there for just one night. And were out a lot), we were just handed a plunger to do it ourselves. The breakfast options were lacking. There were no proteins offered. For what we paid, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Great deal for the comfort and the price. Breakfast was very basic but ok. Swimming pool and whirlpool were terrific. Room was spacious and comfortable.Off the road and a bit hard to find but this was not a big issue

Not very well lit- not easy to find from the main road because there was no signage.
