Nice upscale hotel just outside of Sorrento. Walk is about 20 minutes or so, not too bad, and public transportation is pretty decent nearby. Amenities are nice, especially the garden out back and the rooftop. The only downside was that the wifi was nearly unusable. I stayed for two days and the wifi in my room was spotty at best, had a hard time doing anything on my phone. When I checked out I hung out in the lobby for about an hour and the wifi was just as bad down there. I notified the staff and they said they would try to reset it but that didn't do anything. Pretty annoying.

The service was amazing! The room was amazing, the shower pressure was perfect and the soaking tub did the trick! The view from my balcony was breathtaking!!! I could not be any happier with my accommodation!!!

Really lovely stay, the rooftop bar is something else. Don’t waste money on the 25 euro taxi we were advised to use as the bus is so quick and cheap to get into Sorrento main town centre. Our poor was broken was 1 day which was a gutter as the heat was intense but they did apologise and give our complimentary food and drink. Rooms are big and great room but downside is air con didn’t travel that well to the beds. Staff were lovely at the bar next to pool. Food for breakfast and lunch was superb!

This hotel was a gem. Situated in San Agnello very close to Sorrento. The hotel itself is immaculate. Lovely bar and dining room, Terrace and pool area with a great swimming pool. The rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. Beautiful views from the balcony of Mt Vesuvius and the Martini Bar on the roof top is sensational Staff were lovely and very helpful This is a great location base to explore Sorrento and to visit Pompeii. Wouid love to stay again for longer next time.

Enjoyed our stay here for just one night. Amazing staff that helped us with check-in, gave us restaurant recommendations and even prepared a small Takeaway breakfast since we had an early flight the next day. The only downside was that the rooftop bar was booked for a private party and we were unable to see it. The pool was great, and we would stay here again.

Amazing hotel with the most Beautiful view overlooking Sorrento, the sea and Vesuv. The staff is very kind and easy to communicate with. I Can highly recommend this Hotel.

Disappointed, we had a room which was below reception. Whilst it was spacious, it was old and run down. It was loud at night as it sounded like people dragging chairs along the floor till midnight. I wouldn’t stay there again. Pool area is also run down. Not what we expected.

The hotel was as stunning as the pictures suggest, with big rooms and a beautiful interior. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The bars were both great, and the rooftop is a perfect spot to enjoy a martini while watching the sunset. The hotel isn’t located very centrally, but it feels less touristy and more authentic as a result, and is still a 25min walk from the port and old town, or a 10min walk from the train station. It does have a couple of nice local restaurants around it, and the walk into town is also lined with great food, wine and beer bars. We loved our stay here and would stay again.

My husband and I stayed at this property for four nights in August. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The hotel is situated just outside Sorrento in a quiet neighborhood, with local restaurants nearby. While the hotel itself is a bit dated, which is to be expected, the washrooms have been renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend dining at Don Geppi, the Michelin-starred restaurant located within the hotel. It was one of the best meals my husband, our two friends, and I have ever had! Overall, I’d recommend Majestic Palace Hotel.

The hotel is charming. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, the bar and the restaurant excellent and the pool great! There is no parking on site but they gave us a parking option near by. An amazing beach is within walkable distance! Highly recommended for a lovely stay in Sorrento!

Place is nice! We have been in Italy for 9 days. this place did not tell us that you need your door key for AC to work. middle of the night very hot had to call and they still did not tell me. after 30 min I had figured ot out. Spoke to front desk in the morning and they don't want to do anything about it. Only if we stay longer.

Lovely hotel. Extremely clean, well maintained, on the whole friendly staff. As its 3km from Sorrento centre having local information of the area eg a local map, ferry, bus, train info & timetables, excursion operators etc in rooms or even in reception area, so easy to access would have been very extrememly useful

Great place to stay, close to transportation and many amenities. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, the rooftop bar was also lovely, especially at sunset.

We spent a long time picking a hotel. To stay in the centre of Sorrento was at least 400 per night. The Majestic at Sant Angello was 25 min walk into Sorrento which we did at ease every day. Also Sant Agnello is a lovely area. There are four or five lovely restaurant 5 mins walking from the hotel. They have a lovely swimming pool and a great bar and food menu which we used a lot . Our room had a terrace overlooking the mountains. The bed was so comfortable . It was stunning. They also have an incredible cocktail bar roof terrace. The staff were so friendly. I would definitely come back here again. Don’t let the 25 min walk put you off so much to do here too

Beautiful place to be and stay.

Nice property, although it's a bit dated. Lounge on the roof has excellent service and drinks, but the plastic chairs made to look plush and comfortable in pictures are uncomfortable. Restaurants are great. More of a three-star hotel than four.

We had the most wonderful time staying at this hotel! The staff were super welcoming and accommodating, the property was absolutely beautiful, and several times we found ourselves eating at the hotel and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful/romantic getaway that isn’t too far from the towns centers but far away enough to be quiet.

Beautiful hotel with a great rooftop and amazing cocktails. Location was great as well. Just a few things to note. If you have a car, the parking lot is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Also, ask for a room facing the garden because if you have a room facing the street you will be woken up by the street cleaning and garbage pickups which happen between 4:30-6:00 am.

Pros: Friendly and Helpful Staff, Pool and pool area was fantastic! Great location! Nice balcony in the room! Cons: WiFi not really working in room, not able to work, stream devices, YouTube etc, resulting in using all my data. A/c mind of its own. Turns on and off through the night randomly leaving the room v warm Fridge in room takes 24hr to get a bottle of coke luke warm. No parking Room V old fashioned, not at all like in pictures on website, bait and switch. Shower pan would fill and over flow within 3 mins, causing you to wash, stop the water, soap yourself, turn back on the water, rinse, stop it, add shampoo etc etc Not the worst, just expected more for some reason. Would I stay there again, probably not.

Great place to stay. Clean and very good food. Not too far from Sorrento but great restaurants around as well as a great beach La Marinella about 350 meters away. Would definitely stay here again.
