Good price-to-quality ratio for a Swiss hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast.

All good here, the parking is a bit tight and initially the internet was rather shoddy. I was issued other collection details and the person at the reception was very helpful. Decent room size and lighting for a business trip. I only spent one night there.

Parking us dreadful in this area. The hotel is in the middle of a residential area close to the town. Only option is to use the hotels car park (13.- a night) or drive around for ages and find a spt that allows you to park for an hour only. Public transport is not close or easy in this hilly district. Even parking infront of the hotel to offload is a challenge. The hotel is nice, the staff are friendly, but seriously let down by the dreadful parking. The hotel should allow you to park for free. For this reason I won't be returning. What a shame.

So far everything all-right. Had some problems to drive out the steep drive from the garage. Next time they may better shovel away the snow.

Breakfast is useless. Few pieces of salami , cheese, Bread and cereal. Not expecting grand buffet but this was poor.

Bed very very unconfortable. Breakfast is poor. Room was small. Parking is underground with gate manual opened by the receptionist. Door locker is with classic key and you have to leave it in reception when go in town, and anybody can take "accidental" your key and steal your stuff because receptionis just giving the key

I only stayed for a couple of nights, but it was one of the best hotel stays I've had in years. The hotel was super clean and comfortable, breakfast was lovely and the staff kind and helpful. The location was great as the city centre was easy to reach by foot in 10-15 minutes. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Friendly, helpful staff, quality of service and rooms is above price level, but - and this is my only point of critique: The hotel does not offer air conditioning.

Our room was quite small and pretty suffocating in the heat without any air conditioning. When asked to change our rooms, staff were quite unhelpful. Would never stay there again, totally ruined our vacation.

Convenient to public transit and accepts reward nights unlike most in Lausanne.

What I didn't like: No doorman, same breakfast 4 days in a row, My wake-up call came 30 minutes late; room Door has no chain and/or peephole. What I liked: Taxi was quick to arrive; employees are very nice.

A long walk from the station if you like a walk, It is a steep climb, but great to help discover the main streets of Lausanne. It about a 7 minute walk to the main areas from the hotel, which is pleasing as it is very quiet at night.

good place to stay for a day. nice breakfast :-) it would be good if they have a kettle in the room.

A very very quiet, clean, comfortable and well-equipped room in a lovely, well-run hotel with a great breakfast. Our only negative thought is that it was much further out of the city center than we had thought, especially when the buses were all hung up with civil demonstrations (which were not the fault of the hotel). We loved the choice of near-by restaurants that we got from the concierge.

Excellent service from the staff,gave us bus passes to use while there which was very useful,close to the train station.Breakfast was most enjoyable and included in our package.The con siege even saw it was my birthday as we came in one night and wished me Happy Birthday.

The hotel is nice and the staff were very pleasant. The hotel is a bit away from most things but the hotel gave me a (free) bus pass and that made it easy to get around to the sites. Lausanne is much hillier than I expected and I would not have wanted to walk everywhere.

Not too far from the bus and the lake. clean and tidy room. no air condition but there is a portable fan which is pretty good.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to downtown Lausanne. The Tulip Inn fit the bill. I was a little concerned ahead of time that it might be a bit too far out from the old city, but as it turned out, the bus and train systems made getting around easy. There is a bus stop right around the corner from the hotel, with frequent buses coming by. So, the quiet neighborhood setting of this hotel worked out just fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful for helping us figure out the basics of getting around, etc. Breakfast was excellent and included of course. Expect a small-ish room, but very comfortable. The bathroom also is small, but clean and worked out fine. Overall, good value and a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is close to the city centre and would have been a little difficult to find without a sat-nav. There is a spacious underground garage for secure parking (15 euros per night). The rooms were a little small but clean and comfortable enough. There is free wi-fi and web-enabled computers in reception. The free buffet breakfast was good. There is no restaurant on site, but the staff recommended a few nearby restaurants. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre and for tourists staying overnight in Lausanne where is free public transport with passes which were offered by the hotel. Overall a pretty decent experience.

I was in Lausanne for few days on a business trip, with only couple of meetings and plenty of other work to do. I spent long time at the hotel working in the room which while small was fine and equipped with a decent desk. The staff was really fine, and the hotel provides with free internet and even electric adaptors.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location of hotel was excellent with a bus stop to access the waterfront a two minute walk away. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
