We booked a total of 5 rooms because we were coming to a church convention. When we got to the hotel to check in, the lady at the front desk advised us that they only had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the elevator was out of service. That would have been fine with us except for the fact that we had 2 elderly ladies with us who were unable to walk up and down stairs. The desk clerk did everything she could to accommodate us and she is the ONLY reason i’m not rating it poor all the way around. The rooms were old and not maintained…they even accidentally gave us a room where the bed hadn’t been made up! Yuck!

Will stay there again clean room, hot shower and efficient shuttle service.

Service: They did an excellent job getting us back and forth to the airport. The staff was as helpful as possible with our medical conditions. Unfortunately, no spa. Hydrotherapy is something we both enjoy. Within the limits of the property amenities, the staff did a great job, they were helpful and friendly, everything was clean and tidy. I would recommend the hotel.

The front desk staff were excellent. We were tired and frustrated when we walked in over a nearly 2 hour line to get a car rental. They were so friendly and helpful, that we all ended up having a good laugh together. Our room was quite comfortable and clean. Very close to airport, but never heard any noise. Would go back again if I was in the area.

Not the greatest of entrances. Not the most interesting or attractive neighborhood. But convenient to the airport, Detroit, and Ann Arbor. Uber ride to the airport is $25, so try for the shuttle if you can. The shuttle system isn't clear at the airport, so be prepared or contact the hotel ahead of time. Restaurant choices nearby are totally "meh" and can be shockingly expensive #steakhouses. And I had very little interest in the hotel's breakfast selections on styrofoam (though I did appreciate the coffee). The elevator didn't work, and the hallway was kinda scary, needing more than simply a coat of paint. But... The staff is nice. They give good info. AND the hallmark was the room! When I walked in, I heard the harps play. It was really pretty, and nicely kept. The bathroom was in nice order. The air conditioner was easy to adjust (which is not a commonality these days). The bed was super comfy. I actually enjoyed myself and slept in.

Smelly room, gross hair all over the bathroom floor…I mean come on use a broom! I cut my finger on my razor shaving, went to the front desk to ask for a band-aid….nothing! No first aid kit! Definitely my last time staying here.

Hotel was all dirty and rundown. No made service hard to get towels would never use this place again. Photos do not do it justice how bad it looks. Breakfast staff and front desk staff were very pleasant. Had no issues with them.

Room was pretty stuffy and the Air Conditioning didn't work. Decent enough to stay at before an early morning flight.

I got a room here and i checked in took my stuff to my suite and i leave and go to work, The phone's blown up at work and my friend. That was staying in the room while I was at locked herself out and so she had to go down to the front desk and they told her she can't get in the room because it's not hers which is fine but when I get there, it's the first thing the lady walks up. To me and says everyone out, i said damn cause i went to work and she said well i didnt know that So what at the baymont?You have to Check-in with the front desk when you leave.They are too much and everybody else's business.And the authority had gotten to the girl with the glasses not the uh drag queen looking lady the other one she takes a front desk a little to serious, Please get a dog, a cat, a boyfriend, a friend or something you're truly pathetic and charge me a $150 cleaning fee.I was only there for 5 hours total was kicked out at 940, checked in past 3pm. Never ever will i go to this place EVER AGAIN.... OVER PRICED FOR A PROSTITUTION AND DRUG MOTEL

It was good

Several things were broken and/or dirty. Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Whole place definitely needs some upkeep. Water runs really cold then really hot. Not consistent. Final straw was the man passed out in the hallway because his girlfriend kicked him out. Staff knew about it but didn’t do anything. As a guest who didn’t know the situation or that the man was even a guest I felt very unsafe.

This was much nicer than other Baymont properties I have stayed at. The airport is nearby, but the sound is not terrible. Housekeeper was helpful when I needed towels, but I didn’t catch her name.

Front desk personnel greet you morning noon & night .simple but very appreciative of the effort. Can’t speak to morning food option but I’m guessing pretty decent as both morning many people were enjoying it. First room had personal belongings so don’t think I should have been assigned room . Next room not what I had booked but they asked if I cared & it was ok. I like that she asked vs just assumed would work . That room bed comfy , pillows ok , ceiling in restroom peeling, don’t suggest walking on carpet barefoot , I know they vacuum it’s just older & looks like needs a deep clean or be replaced. Not frayed so not a hazard. The soap & shampoo was nice touch . Ac worked great. The towels don’t look all that inviting but let me tell you they were clean , soft & didn’t smell chemical like… so good job on the towels & sheets ! Parking lot had plenty of lights, thanks cause I came in late both nights & I didn’t feel like I was in a sketchy situation. But I can tell you patrons were smoking and drinking on property but not being rude or loud so I didn’t care . I’m a Wyndam reward member it it does anger me that it’s cheaper to use a site to get better rate than to book direct , means I don’t earn points but $ is $ & I’m not spending more to earn points to maybe get 1 free night a year , not really free cause I can take the savings to get a night . The lady at desk didn’t really know much about Wyndam rewards . I only mentioned cause there was an issue w booking.overall ok stay .

The employee (Chelsea) who checked us in was fantastic. You are lucky to have her as one of your staff. She was very friendly and helpful! Sara at check out was great too.

Really like the convenience as related to the airport, the 24 hr airport shuttle availability. The convenience of walk ability, sidewalks and gas station nearby. The King bed was huge, comfortable and the room was clean!

It was close to the airport and convenient with the shuttle, but there were some funky smells. Maybe mildew? Perfectly adequate place. Comfy bed.
