Room was large enough. Bathroom tub seals and tile grout dirty looking, black areas, many dead insects in light fixture. Facecloth had large hole in it. Coffee machine inoperable. TV was only a whisper despite volume all the way up. Many kids running and noisy in the hallways til very late. Otherwise it was good, though the bed and pillows were mediocre. Very light top blankets, cold at night. Guess the price relects what you get.

Old hotel that has a great location, friendly staff, good underground parking that is free for seniors, good beds and decent price for what you get.

Would not stay at this hotel again. Bed / bedding was comfortable. Hotel is very old. Very dirty. Stains on the floors. Mold in the tub/ shower area. Stains in the roof of the hallways. Elevator not wiped. Was very disappointed.

Lady at the front desk is the only good experience. She is great.

Just was upset with the cleanliness mainly. Not sure if short of staff but it was pretty bad. Hair in the bathroom, floors not vacuumed, carpet stains everywhere, and oddly painter tape used as a threshold transition.

The place was a dump. The $25 I paid for my dog to stay I would not ever put my dog in a horrible place like that again never mind myself and my lady!!’ The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were broken and falling apart the bed was shot and the carpet had stains on it

The location is not well managed or maintained. We had to switch rooms because the door jam faceplate was broken. There were many lights out in the hallway making it dark and sketchy /unsafe feeling. Its the cheapest pet friendly places in the village thats whats keeping it afloat. It needs a lot of work

This is a filthy hotel. Corners cut at every opportunity. Dirty stained carpets and furniture in room and common areas. Bed squeaked. Cheapest amenities all around. The ceiling fan in the bathroom had no cover so rodents could enter through vent. Wallpaper peeling off. The TV remote does not work, only gets BC 1 channel. Never again.

The location was fantastic, just half a block from the lake. However, the room we stayed in was in poor condition. The carpet was old and stained, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the paint was peeling badly around the very dirty window. The highlight of our stay was the desk clerk, Angel.

Mostly satisfied, we enjoyed our stay, but the room above us was being aired out with a huge conditioner that caused noise til 3 a.m. we walked out and around hotel, and sure enough, room 416 above us had an industrial clean out conditioner hose hanging out the window. We could not sleep til 3 a.m. at first we thot it was neighbours bass music. Please for those who need their sleep could you not air out these rooms til morning? Otherwise pleasant stay, thank you. Next time we come in November, could we please be on the 4th floor? Maybe that would help. Thank you

Our deluxe king was spacious with nice view of lake. Room was well used, especially the bathroom with its broken ceiling, worn out bathtub and broken sink stopper. Renovation’s definitely needed.

This property was grubby & needs serious updating. Carpets were stained & bathroom was falling apart. Parking was $10. Blackout curtains didn’t close.
I would not recommend this hotel to my friends & family.

The property is conveniently located to access Hick lake and Deer lake for us to Kayak .
The door latch fell off every time we opined the door and you could tell it lacked maintenance and the $100 charge for my 3 lb dog was quite high we stayed at a few other properties on our trip and the most we paid was $10 .

The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, with a courteous and respectful disposition, going the extra mile, particularly the ladies at the front desk. The carpet could be cleaner, but considering the age of the facilities, the renovations which are underway will most likely resolve that issue. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

It was a reasonably priced last minute booking. I appreciated the underground parking. But, it was disappointing to see the condition of the bathroom. Bathtub was too dirty to use, hair on the bathroom floor, ceiling tiles damaged but the toilet paper was plastic wrapped. The TV didn’t work and there are no screens on the windows. But we did have a lovely sleep.

Although the staff were very friendly and fairly attentive, the facility needs major cleaning, reapirs and updating. The air conditioning was not working. There were dirt (blood?) marks on the lampshade, on the wall, the bathroom shampoo dispenser fell off the wall (we fixed it), the tub had some grout stains, and the carpet had various stains throughout. Main plus is that it is within walking distance to everywhere you need to be in Harrison.

It’s quite an old hotel that definitely needs an update. We had to move rooms ‘cause the AC was not working. Kudos to front desk staff Daphne for the awesome service!

Horrible room conditions, mold in the bathroom, leaks from the ceiling, toilets not working. No staff answer the front desk phone so you’re unable to ask for assistance with any of the issues. Tried calling the week before leading up to our stay and zero answer on the phone or email. Terrible experience, terrible room conditions. Should be shut down

Staff were friendly and hotel was generally clean. My room was in need of significant maintenance - from windows to A/C condensation drain. Hopefully they rectify those issues.

Pictures are totally misleading. The property is incredibly run down. Carpet taped with duck tape, old beat up cheap furniture . Stained sofa. The ‘air conditioner’ was a tube that went into a removed window which now has a piece of drywall with a hole. And of course duck taped to the frame. I spoke to the front desk. She acted like she’d never seen these pictures before. We checked out after 1 night, though we had paid for two. Maybe 20 years ago it looked like that

We booked a two-night stay and were excited for a last summer getaway. We had planned and reserved this hotel a month in advance, but our experience quickly turned into a nightmare the moment we checked in. My kids were terrified by water dripping from the bathroom ceiling onto their heads.
I immediately reported the issue to the front desk, and to my dismay, they admitted they were aware of the problem but still placed us in the leaking room. The water continued dripping day and night, resulting in a sleepless stay.
Although the front desk staff apologized and offered credits per night due to the lack of available rooms to switch to, this promise was not honored. Upon checking out, we received no such credit. This experience was deeply disappointing.

Property needs major refresh. Furniture, flooring, walls and ceilings, tv and charging connections, beds, etc. We were comfortable and room was clean and surprisingly quiet. Staff were very good.
